Moony, things like this happen to a lot of people. So, I guess hope is always there anyways. And beware, this is coming from someone who is a wack-job. xD 

Hope is like a candle. It goes out, and you think it'll be out forever. But there's someone there that will rekindle the light, and bring that feeling of hope back to you. The candle will go out a lot in your life, but believe me, the candle burns out when you don't believe anymore. Just believe that the person you like is a good person. Maybe, even if they do/did bad things, they'll be good in the end. Because a person is not born evil, they are born good. And there will always be good in their heart. All your job is, is to bring that good back.

Wow... that did help... thanks. :) But I'm afraid to get involved with him in case he's a bad person...

I'm also starting to doubt the fact that he ever liked me.
Maybe I was just playing games with myself or thinking and seeing what I wanted to...
and maybe my friends just never really wanted to admit it...
And definitely currently I think he is over me.
Which is frustrating and very heartbreaking for me.

He'll be hard to forget.
And whenever I ask my friends now if they think he likes me, they always stumble through an answer, so i guess he doesn't and i'm only seeing what i wish was there and thinking what i wish would be.
So...
I'll do my best.

Well, I talked to my best friend about it..
she doesn't go to my school but she is very helpful.
She said I can't be with someone whod oes drugs
and that she would KILL herself if I ever got into that crap.
It made me cry to know that she cared about me that much.
So..
I don't know what to do about the dance. What I'm thinking is I won't plan on asking him. I'm going to test how much I still like him using my jealousy. If I start getting really jealous when he's dancing with other girls, I think I'll ask him. But if not, I'll let it be.
I hope this is the right choice. i don't want to date a druggie either.

A few songs I absolutely love and relate to right now:

Okay guys, good news!
First of all, this happened a long time ago, but apprently Luke doesn't do drugs. Now I'm just confused, because a couple people still say he does but others don't...
Either way, I really like what Floresta said at the top of this page... it really is helping me actually. I guess, either way, I'll just believe he's a good person. Because a person is not born evil, he is born good. :) thanks Resta.

Anyways, in LA we got this assignment, and Flamepelt and I partenered up and are making a video. It's a video for Edgar Allen Poe's "Cask of Amontialdo" or whatever. I'm gonna play Montresso as a girl (so, Monstressa) and we've decided we're gonna ask Luke if he wants to be Fortunato, the drunk jester. Hehe.
I think he might say yes, but we're getting my guy friend Tyler to do it, so we'll see...
it's a huge risk. And I keep telling myself that. It actually makes me feel better because I'm not really a risky person when it comes to guys. Like, this thing could go really well. But if he says no, it'll just be awkward to ask him to dance at the dance this Friday then because he'll think I'm obsessed with him or something.
So this is a huge risk for me...
Ugh I'm so nervous. ;___;

I may not be the best of help, in this case, considering the fact that I've never really liked a boy, so I don't know how a girl would think in a situation such as this. So, feel free to brick me if I say something stupid, even if I didn't mean to. x3
However, I know that you must have confidence. Confidence is key!
Try not to put yourself down; you've got other people to do it for you. xD

Five slow songs.
I'll describe slowly. :)
My goal was to ask Luke, but for the first slow songs I really coulnd't do it... my nerves were going insane, I wanted to get him as alone as possible to ask cus I thought his friends might influence his descision.
So first slow song i didn't dance with anyone and was wayyyy too nervous to ask Luke.
Second slow song I danced with Tyler near Luke and Tyler knows I like Luke, so he was eyeing Luke the whole time and he whispered, "I think Luke is jealous" and I was like "Is he looking??" and Tyler's like "Yeah I'm staring at him". I told him to give him the evil eye, like "SHE'S MINE!" Hahaha. XD XD Anyways, Tyler and I were really close and I was kind of resting my head on him and stuff.
Third slow song (You and Me- Lifehouse) I danced with this kid named Kyle cus Luke was taken by the time I found him in the crowds. Kyle's cool and hilarious so that was fun. He was like, singing along. XD He didn't sound that great. Hehe.
My friends were all ticked that I hadn't asked Luke yet, and I didn't have much time since most dances have typically four-five slow songs. Either way, I knew on the fourth song, I had to ask.
So I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing- Aerosmith came on, and I rushed to find Luke. I found him with his friends, not my favorite time... but I just took a deep breath and walked behind him. I tapped his shoulder and he didn't turn around, so I kept slapping it until he finally did. Then he turned, and I was like, "Wow, you're not only deaf, you also can't feel anything!" and he's like "yeah, I'm deaf" and we just kind of stood there cus I was really that nervous. Then he's like "Wanna dance?" I'm like, "Sure" (I think, don't remember too much).
So we danced... and it was ahmaaazingggg:))) His friend Brandon (which is one of the friends I thought would influence him) was singing along to the song right in our faces, I was just laughing, but it was relieving to know that it was true that people really actually didn't care... So that was very refreshing! Luke really likes to talk when dancing with people I guess. He talked alot. Mostly about annoying people. Hehe. But yeah, it was fun. The song was like, five minutes too, which was the longest slow song so I think it was fate that I got to wait until the end to get my prize. Anyways, it was just basically the most amazing night of my life.
It was pretty funny cus there are random people scattered around in different cliques who were trying to get us to dance the whole time, and they were all dancing around us and getting really excited. Then Flamepelt and my other friends were like screaming from the sidelines and taking pictures with their phones! Flamepelt can describe her reaction here, but let's just say that after the dance she hugged me literally at least 50 times.
Brandon, who was dancing with someone else, was all "Hey, there's Mrs. Jackson!" and Mrs J takes the pictures and I guess they like being in pictures so Brandom started scooting over to her and Luke and I started to dance walk over to Mrs J until we found out she was at the very front. Luke's like "I'm too lazy!" and I'm like "mee tooooo!"
But she found us anyways and took our picture, and I immediately hated it and Luke said he looked like a rapist, so let's hope they don't show that one.... hahaha.
Then it was over and Mrs J was still trying to take our picture and Luke's just like "it's over!" and Mrs J said something like "It might happen again!"

SO YEAH
I know I wrote alot but I like to look at past journals and I really didn't want to forget anything important.

See; he couldn't be all that bad, and if you think he doesn't do drugs or smoke... OR, if you find out he does, tell him that it's not right, and that he's gonna mess up and lose everything he had; including you! xP That was stupid to say, so I digress. But it's kinda obvious, as far as I can tell, that he's not doing drugs or smoking, some of your friends just don't want you to go out with him for some odd reason.
