Rules and Info on Being a Tribe Member

Table of Contents:
1. Basics
2. Names
3. Positions
4. Extra Info on Confusion

To add more variety and sincerity to the books to this forum, there is now a Tribe of Rushing Water, and as long as the books only have one tribe, so will the forum. Perhaps you'd like to become a pack member of The Tribe of Rushing Water. Read on to find out the basics.

Basics:
If you are just joining, it's probably nice to know you have other options besides becoming a Clan cat or loner. You can also become part of the tribe. In your joining application, simply state you'd like to live with the tribe in the mountains and your wish will be granted. The mods and I are stilld deciding whether or not to allow a Clan cat to switch to a tribe cat, so hold on and we'll have a repsonse soon.

Names:
You must make sure you have a tribe-like name, like Reflection of Round Moon in Stream or Feather of Cawing Crow. Those really suck, but you get the Picture. Your username will be the nickname of your tribe name. For example, the two examples that I gave would have the names Reflection and Feather. Your nickname is always the first word of your full name, so make sure you like that first word!
If people really want to know your full names, they can just ask you or check the positions post that will be added to this board.

Positions:
There are many positions in the tribe. Here they are:

Leader/Healer:

Cave Guards:

Prey Hunters:

To-Bes:

You will start out as a to-be (apprentice). the requirements for becoming a cave guard or prey hunter is the same as becoming a warrior in a Clan; just get 100 posts, pass the Warriors quiz, and make sure you've been a member for two weeks. As for becoming the leader/healer, you will fill out the nomral requirements for becoming a leader in a Clan. You will not have to fill out the Clan medicine cat requirements.
As questions come up, I'll add them here.

Extra Info on Confusion:

Many seem confused on the Tribe. Many would love to join. The only problem is that I'm worried everyone will join for the change and then the Clans won't have very many. However, I've come to a solution that will last for a while.

For now, I will allow TEN Clan cats to join currently if desired. I already have one request and I am going to join temporairly so that puts it down to eight. This limit will probably change eventually so don't flip out. Any amount of outside cats can join. You just gotta PM me saying you'd like to join and what you'd like your Tribe name to be.
Even if you wish to be leader/healer someday, you still have to start as a to-be. If you are already a warrior or past that, you won't have to start as a to-be if you don't want to since you've already passed the requirements for a warrior once. You can move to Cave Guard or Prey Hunter immediately IF DESIRED. When the time comes, whoever reaches the requirements for leader/healer first will become it. Basically, just apply all the Clan rules of moving up to the Tribe.

If you are leader, deputy, or medicine cat in your Clan and wish to switch to the Tribe, just like our outside cats rule, you must switch back to your Clan cat position before TWO WEEKS is up or else you will not be able to get your position back.
HOWEVER, if you would like to become the leader/healer for the Tribe, you must have been a Tribe cat for at least one week before taking the Warriors test. Please keep track of your own time.
Also...
YOU MUST HAVE READ UP TO THE TRIBE IN THE BOOKS TO JOIN!

Thank you. I hope this smoothes out any confusion.
