Flazestar nodded slowly and mewed in a small voice, "But somehow... I don't know if he's still out there. I think we should have some cats search within the camp, first." Her tail twitched irrtably as she closed her eyes. "I just wish things would go as planned, even if I know they won't. Just once, you know?" She sighed deeply, and felt a kind of jolt of lifeless energy go through her body. It powered her in a way, but also left her there, hopeless; like there was nothing to find. Like Owlscar wasn't there. That couldn't be, though. I can't be in denial, yet. It's not like he's dead; he has to be alive. I couldn't stand not seeing that peppy cat every single day, thought Flazestar, screaming at herself.

Firepaw opened his eyes and yawned. He looked around. he slowly stood and stretched. Firepaw padded out of the den andwalked to the freshkill pile. He took a fat mouse and sat down. He took a bite out of it. Firepaw stood up after finishing it and heard talking. He walked over to the den that flazestar and featurestorm were in. He looked at flazestar. "what's wrong?" he asked.

Flazestar composed herself and gave a small frown as she looked at Firepaw and mewed weakly, "Owlscar has disappeared..." Then blinked slowly. "And we have no idea where he is." Her tail twitched nervously as she looked at the apprentice with a light of curriosity. "I have a favor to ask of you, Firepaw," mewed the leader, nodding to herself slowly. "I want you to ask Mudstone to help you search around the camp, just in case Owlscar had fallen asleep somewhere... You know? I don't know where he would. I'm going to talk to Thornleaf in a few minutes." She smiled weakly and nodded to the apprentice.

OoC : Ebonners, not to be touchy or anything, but Firepaw and Amber paw need apprentices. Should we make it like every cat for themselves to raise tension or something? Just a suggestion.

OoC : All righty! And I've been wondering, I'm hoping I've been getting this right, but I thought of the narrow path as two things. A bridge and a sloping path. I'm kind of confused as to which one it is.

OOC: what do you mean about the apprentices? And fireheart we live were there is no prey. we have to go to the patrol and go across the narrow path witch is a pain in the but to get across sinnce it is so tiny that only one cat can go on it at a time. then we need to get across the thunderpath and onto a field. you need to look at the map.

Mudstone was sitting on the rocky and dusty ground wondering what could have happened to Owlscar. "Where did he go?" SHe said wondering in her thoughts. she got up and padded to the Featherstorm's burrow and said, "We are going to set up search parties. do you think you can acummpony me Featherstorm and Firepaw?" She said looking at the two.

OoC : About the apprentices? What I mean, is that some of them do not have mentors; and in this time of peril, is it really worth it to give the apprentices mentors, because what if the mentor dies, not saying it will happen. xP
