Ebonycloud stood in a small clearing opposite her bright young apprentice. The small ginger tabby's tail flicked side to side with the challenge she was going to give him. "Are you ready Boopaw?" She grinned at her the young tom.
His silver blue eyes sparkled with mischief, "Ready when you are!" He crouched down ready to move when she said go.
"We are going to learn the badger defense today." Ebonycloud flicked her tail back and forth in amusement. Boopaw's eyes widened.
"Badger defense? B-but we dont usually have badgers here." He tilted his head in confusion.
"Well, that may be true but," she grinned, "Thunderclan does get badgers. They also like to chase them on to our territory, so we must be prepared." Ebonycloud blinked her ice blue eyes with warmth. Boopaw's jaw slacked slightly, then the corners of his lips pulled up in to a myschivious grin. Ebonycloud laughed and called out, "Alright! Pay attention!" She reared back on her hind legs, "Remember to keep your balance!"
Boopaw watched her with large sparkling eyes, saoking in as much knowledge as possible. "Next i want you to jump forward but land on your back paws, duck, turn and bite the hind leg! Now watch." Ebonycloud's eyes focused on a point in front of her as her legs bunched up. Rocketing off the ground, she jumped higher than a badger's back and landed on her back paws rather than her forepaws. As soon as she touched down, she ducked and twirled around. Her jaws snapped shut on where the imaginary badger was. Boopaw's tail lashed back and forth with excitement. "Are you ready?" Ebonycloud purred.
"Ready as i will ever be!" He sounded like he couldnt contain his excitement. He reared up fast but lost his balance and immediatly fell backwards.
Ebonycloud stiffled a laugh and called out, "Focus on one point to keep your balance. Also dont rush." Boopaw nodded and reared again. He was a little unbalanced but he managed to hop forward. "The power is in your back legs, use it!" His mentor called. The ginger tabby bunched his legs and jumped higher. "Remember! Jump as high as you can! You dont want to land on the badger. It could roll over and squish you!" Boopaw nodded again and kept it in mind. This time he bunched his legs harshly and launched himself in to the air, enough to clear the badger. He landed slightly awkwardly on his back paws. "Duck!" Ebonycloud called. Boopaw hesitated and felt a powerful blow to his head that knocked him aside.
He glared up at whatever had hit him only to see Ebonycloud standing near where he had landed with a playful glint in her eyes. "Come on then. Duck next time."
"You didnt have to hit me." He growled playfully.
"If i didnt, you wouldnt learn. Everytime you dont duck, you get hit." She grinned at him, yet her words were serious. Boopaw didnt enjoy getting smacked around. He would get it right!

A long time passed and the sun was begining to set on the morland. Two cats sat in a clearing panting harshly from the days traning session. "Well dont Boopaw. You have perfected your last battle technique!" Ebonycloud grinned with pride. "Come on then. I am going to have a talk with Rosestar, about your warrior ceremony." Boopaw's chest puffed with pride at his acomplishments. This was it! He was going to finally be a warriror!

Personality: Wild and crazy, can't be stopped.

Alrighty! Here is Boopaw's first hunt with me! XD I thought this would be different than what people usually do. It seemed fun to me and i thought you all would enjoy seeing something other than just a picture =D Keep checking back in for Boopaw's training sessions!
