Swamp of the Lost

 

You and four friends have just woken up in a strange swamp. There is nothing but ankle deep swamp water and seven mud and straw huts in the center. Tall walls of vines and stone trap you within the swamp. Monkeys laugh at you from the roofs of the huts. As you and your friends get up, you realize you are wolves. Each person has a different colored coat. The colors are red, sky blue, purple, gray, and black. Confused, you wander around the swamp seeking an exit, carefully avoiding the monkeys. At the southern part of the swamp, you find a gate that moans at you. Symbols glow on the stone and you can see light past the gate, but nothing else. You step through the gate expecting something new, but you end up back where you started, in the swamp. You look behind you and see that the gate is no longer there. The monkeys continue to laugh at you.

Hey guys, this is a new RP that I dont expect to last very long. Yeah, its supposed to be incredibly short, but it can be long if you dont work together. This whole RP is a puzzle and Im the only one that knows the answer. As you can see from the above paragraph, youre in a swamp with no way out and a bunch of weird stuff. Only five people will be able to play. No more, no less. Others can watch and give helpful suggestions to the Rpers, but not in the RP. Do it through PMs. I will choose your coat colors. I dont want people arguing about them. You can tell me what color you would prefer to have though. I wont be one of the people stuck in the swamp. Im going to be a narrator kind of guy who tells you what happens when you do something.

Ex:

You: Person walks in a circle, following the wall of the swamp.

Me: As Person approaches the southern part of the swamp, a gate appears. Two symbols could be seen on it, one on each stone pillar. A strange light that looked like an inside out sunset could be seen beyond the gate. A moaning sound seemed to come from the gate. Only those who can see the gate can hear the moaning.

Do you get it? If you dont I can try to explain it a little better.

Rules:

1.       The usual RP rules.

2.       No love interests. This is a short RP and its a puzzle. Love interests will make things complicated and distract from the point of the RP. This RP is not like the usual ones.

3.       No dying. If you want to quit, just say so and someone else will take your position. If no one else wishes to play, then Ill control your character. Youre gonna need all five wolves to finish the puzzle.

4.       Stuck? I can and will give hints if you guys are truly confused.

OOC: Looks like we got all five. Great, so lets get this started.

You guys are starting right in front of the gate. Remember, it's only visible from the front. I'll let you know when I update the RA (recent activities) and hints. Just look at the bottom of my posts. I'll work on a map so that you guys can get a better idea of what the swamp looks like. You can think of this RP as a Choose your own adventure with a lot more freedom.

Hawkshadow and Aurastripe: Both of you wanted to be red so I did a coinflip. Aurastripe won so I gave her the red color. Hope light blue is okay with you Hawkshadow. No, I didn't let anyone know ahead of time that I was going to do a coinflip.
