The rage filled shade roared in defiance and threw Lorak from its back. The brownish ginger wolf went crashing to the ground but managed to recover in the air so he only slid a few paces when he collided with the ground. The he wolf growled dangerously and snapped at the shade. It was way out of reach obviously but it did turn its attention to him for a moment. Lorak stood on his feet, his ghostly green eyes turning an unnatural yellow. He charged at the beast and knocked it over completely. The lesser shades around him fled, yelping and yowling in fear. The supieror shades backed off and watched the prince fight. The cowardly light in their eyes showing. Lorak's fangs pierced the beast easily as he jumped on to its back again. Aiano did her best to fight below but Lorak figured she was being more of a hindurance in her current state. The he wolf bit hard and pulled back on the shade's shifting black body. The bear creature roared again and threw Lorak but this time the half prince landed easily, almost as if this was some sort of dance for him. He growled and snarled at the shade making it turn tail and flee. The rest of the shades looked to eachother and followed as well. It was only a small patrol compared to the army that Normandy had at his disposal, but it was enough to try to keep Snowpack in its place. Lorak breathed heavy for a moment. Unlike his father he was still half wolf and had trouble in fights. If Normandy had fought just then he could have easily killed all those shades himself, only barely breaking a sweat. Lorak had a lot of training to do if he ever wanted to defeat his father.

Watching Lorak fight, Aiano shrunk back, stepping away. He could handle himself. Prodding Jupiter with her muzzle, she whispered, "He's fine. Go get everyone else healed." With that, the Alpha walked over to Lorak and placed her muzzle on top of his. "It's done. Let's get you back to camp." She pulled back and looked at the other wolf carefully. She had seen his eyes flash yellow during that fight. Fear did not take over, but it was there. Rather... something like... The reverse of dominence for a second. When they made eye contact she turned away in the direction she had told Jupiter to go in. Her cuts weren't bleeding as much anymore.

Rin sighed. SHe took some of the pups, guiding them back to camp. She padded over to Aiano and spoke with a desolate tone. "Nowhere is safe from 'him' anymore, we have to move." Rin sudgested.

OOC: i was outside camp then brought the pups back. I thought you guys were at camp and the rest of us went away from camp to put the defenceless to safety, that's what played in my mind. hm. okay.

"NO!" Jupiter exclaimed. His heart raced. Save the others? Not his crush? He couldn't NOT follow Aiona's rules, since she was definitely leader, but how? He was in love with her! And yet, he couldn't tell her. No way. He kept it in for 5 long years, and he'd keep it in now. Feeling quite terrible, Jupiter turned head and ran, long away from Aiona, to not see her in pain.

Aiano hadn't noticed Jupiter hadn't walked away, so she stared at the Healer with a blank look. "The fight is over, Jupiter. Heal the others first. Lorak and I are fine -- I am practically unscathed," she ordered. Her eyes were completely calm, and she shifted easily from paw to paw to keep the weight evenly spread. Aiano's face looked stricken for a second, but then she looked away from Jupiter. Chin held high, she said coldly, "Your orders have been given. Follow them." Her body gestures were distant as she spoke.
