He gave her an interested look. "Maybe. What are your skills? I won't take any useless dogs. I'll see if you are willing to be loyal You mess up on the first day-that's when you leave, death or by living." he cackled. His scouts escorted a few more. "Sir, we found some more." they told him. "Good, set a den up for them." he told them. Arina snapped and turned. Gizmo seemed distracted-she picked up Spectre and ran for it. She hid behind a cage. Maybe she could confuse them.

Dakota saw Apollo and Sialor and pointed to them. "These are the other dogs. Apollo the mountain dog is a greta fighter like me. Sailor is fast and will take care of any pups you have." Wondering if what she said was a good thing or bad Dakota stared at the leader and narrowed her eyes. "By the look of your pack it looks like your going to need us." She barked with a hint of anger in her eyes. This was going to be hard but she had to do all she could to help her friends.

River lay blood spilling from wounds that covered her. Yet the dogs took no notice of her wailing and kept biting her, letting out loud cackles. There tails wagged madly as she gave out small yelps. She felt so weak. She watched as they attacked Nightshadow and suddenly her fear evaporated and was replaced with anger. How dare they do this! She got up snarling aggresively. The dogs gave out little cackles of laughter. "What you goona do pup?" Rivers eyes flashed as she fell back into a distant memory. All she could feel was pain, around her threatining to destroy her. She gave out a large growl and leapt up smakshing the dogs skull and killing him istantly. The other dogs backe daway there eyes wide.

"What going on?"

"How'd she do that?"

"Her eyes there... There red!" It was true her usually gentle eyes glowed a dangerous red.

"Prepare yourselves traitours!" She snarled leaping at them, killing them one by one. They whined jumping back giving startled yelps. She stood ove rthe body of the one who had first chucked her through the air. She could feel his heart beating fast under her paws. "May the next worl be more forgiving to you then this one." She growled ripping his heart from his chest. The other dogs spluttered and yelped trying to get away. Eventually she had killed them all, they lay there eyes glazed. Suddenly the strangeness disapeared and she was just River. She gave out a startled cry at the scene before her. Wheezing and screaming before passing out, half because of her wounds, half because of the shock.

OOC: I know the dogs aren't sposed to have super powers but since she was in a lab I figured they might have done tests on her to unleash the 'true animal within'.

OOC: Hmm maybe being possessed or something would be better but I guess it's ok as long as she doesnt start flying, disappearing, super strength etc

ic: Arina gave a grin seeing the dogs vanish-but it turned into a worried look as she saw River collaps. She ran over and picked her up gently. Spectre had nightshadow onhis back. The leader gave a growle and more dogs came out. He walked over and let them take the pups out into their cages. Spectre gave a yowle as he was being taken from Arina. She snapped and hurled herself at the leader. He gave a bark and kicked her back. She fell against the wall.

IC: Dakota watched the dogs and noticed Arina and the pups and even Spectre. Seeing Arina get kicked she held herself back from helping her and looked at the leader trying to keep her hate for him inside herself. Looking past him she saw cages where they kept the dogs. Another dog was there she looked beat and it made Dakota feel sick. turning her attention to the leader again she waited for his answer.

He padde back over to Dakota. "Fine. But only temporarily, until you've proven yourself." he said. SOme dogs prepared dens and a few more dragged Spectre off, Arina all but forgotten. A few dragged her away and set her next tothe leaders den for the time being. He scowled. "Gizmo-see if you can't take that fire out of her eyes. I want to make sure she can't fight anymore." he said, grinning. "I bid you adue, take tot he dens with your friends." he said. He walked off and went into his own den.

Once the leader had gone Dakota let out a growl and shook her head. She hated him and they had only met, but she had to listen to him for the time being and if he tried anything like he did to Arina or Lucy she would bite his ears off. Walking toward the den she looked toward Gizmo and called to him. "Hey! Scruffy! C'mere!" She barked and sat down to wait.
