Honeypaw's (Super Awesome) Journal

I am in 6th grade going on 7th, and I'm pretty sad that I'm going to leave my school. I'm looking forward to a good summer. I went to Lake Tahoe a couple days ago, and I can say that it was pretty fun, though the weather did not want to cooperate. So we didn't go hiking, swimming, or anything that involved getting inside except for tennis. I saw a live coyote, a volture up so close I could actually see the red head, a really cool house with bronze statues of rams, horses, mountain lions, deer, and bears, Gulliver's Travels, and Kung Fu Panda 2. Pretty cool trip, even though it snowed everyday... except for the day we went home...cry

Soo... it's 4 days into summer vacation for me, and I'm kind of sad. I won't be seeing my ele. school anymore. I used to be a Husky, now I'm a Shark. My school colors went from purple and gold to green and orange. (Personally, I like the P & G.) I earned the top reading medal for my school and got the President's Award thingy. (You get it at my school district when you get Principle's Honor Roll in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade.) I'm trying to make the most of my summer, but I still can't get it out of my head how I won't be seeing all of my favorite teachers again. **sigh**

It's not so bad. You will probably see them again one day. When ever I went to Wallmart before I moved, every so often I would usually see one of my teachers. And better still, you'll meet new teachers that you might be good friends with. Believe me, I've gone through this too many times to count.

I forgot how many days we've been into Summah Vacation, but I did find a cool new game! It's called Champions Online, and you're a superhero. You get to pick a class (that determines what powers you'll get) and customize! There's so many different costume pieces, and if you can find the right costume pieces, you can even make a kitty-person! I think the customization is best, because you get to fight crime and look good doing it! There's different "travel powers" that you can use to get around faster. The ones (that are free) that I can think of at the top of my head are flight, super speed, acrobatics, and teleportation. I haven't memorized them all. The game is free, unless you buy gold membership or Atari Tokens. But yeah, the game's awesome. I play it a lot, and so far after a couple days I leveled a Glacier Kitty-Person to level 17, and starting a Marksman. I hope a couple of you are gonna play it, I'd love to have you guys as friends and chat to you live! One more thing, I think we should make a joke thread to increase activity. (Blonde jokes wouldn't be allowed, as some blondes find these offensive. Unless EVERYBODY says they aren't offended by them, because I have no idea who's blonde or not on this site.)

Soooo... yesterday I saw Transformers: Dark of the Moon instead of buying fireworks. We can always go to a show or something. Other than that, I haven't been doing much. Basically thinking what I'm gonna put in this journal, watching T.V, playing games.... that sort of thing. I also went to Gamestop yesterday, and when I turned in my 4 DS games, I got like 33 dollars! The Mario Kart I turned in was like 22.50. So I'm amazed at that. My older brother brought in a lot of X-Box 360 games only only got like a dollar or two more than me. I finished a book called Redwall, and I must say, it's a very cute book. It's long and the print is tiny, but it only took me a couple days to read all 300+ pages. Then I started a book series called Septimus Heap, I'm on the second book, also pretty good books. Anyone ever read the Pendragons? Excellent 10 books, I love the plot and the humor that's gone into them. I'm kind of sad that all the book series that I know and love I'm coming towards the end of. I already finished the Pendragons, I'm on The Fourth Apprentice for Warriors, and the Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third series (How to Train Your Dragon books) on the last book that I know of for it. I dunno if another one's being written.

I am really trying to find something interesting here, because all entries must have at least two full lines. As the weeks go by, there's less and less to talk about. You guys like my new picture? I love dragons almost as much as I love horses and cats. I wonder if there are any pictures out there that have all three in it... nah, that'd be a bit weird. Is there anybody who reads my posts all the time? Like seriously, is this a big waste of time because nobody reads it? I know Woodfall read at least my first one, and Novastorm read a few as well. It doesn't really matter, but I'd like to know.

It's been awhile since I've posted, so lemme fill you guys in. The Borders nearest to us is going out of business, and I'm sad because now I'll have to bug my mom to take us to Barnes and Nobles which is like a couple towns away. How am I gonna get my Warriors collection completed easily? (I only have the first 3 lol) Oh well... at least she took us there today and I got the newest Warriors book, Sign of the Moon. I read like half of it. We recently went school clothes shopping, but I didn't really want much. Only a couple of cute shirts. My birthday is only 12 days away, counting this one! I know a lot of what my presents are, because right now whenever my mom buys me something I really want she says, "Happy birthday!" So far I've gotten: a pair of Vans, the new Warriors book, my favorite movie Balto (which we have on tape, but not DvD so I'm getting it on DvD) and a new MP3 player. I'm growing a catnip plant from seeds for my kitty, Patches! It's coming along nicely, and I think it's sprouting, but I can't be sure because the pot (and the soil that is in it) has been outside for awhile and what's sprouting could be weeds. Whether it's the real deal or weeds, only time will tell!

Well, I'm rather bummed you guys never said Happy B-day on the 12th of August! Oh well... you guys haven't known me long enough to remember, hehe. Well I've had a great birthday! My brother got the munchies at the 99 Cents Store (he works there and that particular night he worked till' 12 A.M) and bought TONS of sugar cookies. So we've had enough sweets in a week to last us like 2 months lol. My middle school is all right, all though I wish they somehow made it easier to get to your classes like picking each class nicely so that I don't have to walk all the way across campus in three minutes behind some inconsiderate slow pokes. I always walk fast even if the next class is just around the corner because other people may have to walk wayyy further than I do. I do NOT want to be tardy. Depending on how tardy you are, you can get a detention there. So yea, that's about it.
