OOC: Hold on, our characters don't need new names bud ^^ When Graystripe joined Riverclan he didn't get a new name. Plus it would all be very confusing to our RPers ^^ Also, like I said before, please don't try and make any prophecies or important things to the story before running them by me. This is my RP and I tend to like to keep them on a certain pathway. Send me a PM of you idea and if I like it I will let you do it. If I don't I will tell you why ;D

Darkwhisker looked over to her clanmates. She let out a small sigh and mewed, "Well, I'm sure it isn't that bad." She tried to cheer them up, but then let her eyes wander to the TigerClan cats. They looked more like solider drones than normal clan cats. She felt a chill roll up her spine, "Then again, it might be harder than we first thought." She added. Darkwhisker looked down to her paws for a moment, then shook her head. "But we will succeed, I'm sure of it." Darkwhisker's lips twitched in slight optimisim.

Bearfur watched as a tom swatted away a cat he was battling as the name Shadestreak was called. Mentally slapping himself in the muzzle, he watched as the fierce, jet black tom made his way over and immediately knew that this was who he was going to train under. Bearfur ignored Thunderstep and the deputy's little argument and returned the cat's glare with a bored glance. "Hm? You wanted something?" Bearfur asked, watching as Shadestreak bristled in anger at his indifference. "Oh, you must be Shadestreak. 'M name's Bearfur. I can't say it's a pleasure at this moment, but I can tell you that I will train under you then surpass you." Venom was laced in Bearfur's voice as he spoke, a grin with no malicious intent engraved on his face, despite his tone of voice.

Shadestreak smirked. "Spoken like a true TigerClan cat. Are you sure you weren't born here?" He watched as Bearfur raised an eyebrow and took that as a no. I suggest we spar. However, your large size would make it quite hard to fight in this camp." Bearfur nodded and gestured for Shadestreak to lead the way. "Also, even though you've probably noticed, every battle is a fight for life or death."

"I noticed."

Fawntail laughed, cuffing Gingerpaw on the ear again. "We'll definitely keep that in mind as things escalate!" she purred, amused. "But for now, you probably shouldn't let on that I revealed so much of the current happenings. Most wouldn't consider you old enough. When the time comes, however, we would be honored to have such an eager spirit on our side." She flicked her tail as they padded onward through the dense undergrowth, forgetting to check the surrounding smells for pray; that didn't seem important right now.

Petaldancer gave a snort of pure amusement, amazed at the thought that Sharpfang would even think of her as just a peice of prey. If he thought that, he has another thing coming.  "What a piece of fox dung." Turning to gave him a glance of gratitude she remarked, "He seems to be a little full of himself there and I probably could have handled it, but thanks for the help. Sometimes, I wonder if being pretty also makes others think of you as mousebrained? Is that true?" Her cerulean eyes had a amused sparkle in them as she gave him a friendly cuff on the ear.  "So which one is Sunheart?" She asked.

Gingerpaw bounded next Fawntail happily. She felt important in a way, she was young, yet she was just let in on a very important secret. Her mind was filled with excitement. She wouldn't let on she knew, but her fur was tingling with anticipation. She was glad to see that the Lionclan cats were not joining them because they would prefer bloodshed, but rather because they wanted to help stop the bloodshed! But, what if they were caught? What if something happened and there efforts were all for nothing? She highly doubted that Darkstar would just decide that driving out the clan was a bad idea. So where did that leave them? She shrugged. It didn't matter, this was the most exciting thing that had ever happened to her. Not that she enjoyed the fact that it was a life or death situation, but she couldn't get over the fact that something big was about to go down and she was to be apart of it.

Thunderstep gave Petaldancer a curt nod. "That flea-bitten mongrel has been a plague on this clan since my father made him deputy. Hates me, that's all I know." From there he scanned the area of Petaldancer's new mentor. Spotting the pale golden she-cat, he nodded in her direction, "That's her over there. good luck." With that Thunderstep trotted away to join Kestreleye on the edge of the camp.

Nightfang watched as the mentors that were called out began to move toward their assigned apprentices. Almost all of them had snarling faces, only a few others looked slightly disinterested. As a large long-furred white cat approached her Nightfang shrank back, her former courage now gone. The tom's disinterested blue eyes moved over the lithe she-cat for no more than a second. He motioned with his head for her to follow.
"I'm Whitewhisker," he muttered and turned.
"I'm Nightfang," she replied and she hopped to-it to follow him. Though if he heard her name he made no sign of it. Instead he led the way to where the others were training now. Without warning he whirled around and lashed her across the face. Nightfang had no more than a second to realize what was going on. She was sent sprawling on the ground. Her world spun for a moment before Whitewhisker pounced on her, grabbing her by the neck with his powerful jaws. The she-cat let out a frightened yowl as he began to squeeze her neck in his mouth. She squirmed and lashed out at him, but he would not move. The air to her lungs was beginning to run out when she managed to kick him directly in the stomach.
The large tom lurched back, coughing in reply. Night fang bolted up and launched herself at him, he was distracted just long enough for her to barrel her shoulder directly in to his face. His neck twisted back in a painful way as he dropped to his side with her on top of him. Without thinking, Nightfang dug her claws in to his side and bit in to his shoulder. Whitewhisker yowled at this and began to roll so that she was falling toward her face. He continued the motion until he had rolled completely on top of her, though she had not let go. Using his large paws her pounded her across the face, leaving scars on her muzzle. She flinched but did not move her vice-like grip.
Seeing that his tactic didn't work, Whitewhisker latched on to her shoulder with his own teeth and began to pull harshly, causing major pain to both combatants. the continued to roll with motion. The two were locked in a stalemate, neither giving up nor winning. Her amber eyes glowed with fury, his blue ones flashed with hatred.
Finally a voice broke out, it was Sharpfang's, "Oh would you two get on with it?!" For a moment, Whitewhisker hesitated, his eyes flashing toward the deputy. Nightfang saw her chance and lashed his face with her claws. Her pulled back with a yowl of pain and she kicked with all her might. He landed with a thud just a tail length away, she stood on shaky paws. Blood tricked from the scratches on her muzzle and the wound on her shoulder. Blood stained his white pelt above his eyes and on his shoulder. Panting as he stood, Whitewhisker sent a hateful glare to Sharpfang, blaming him for the loss of concentration.
He turned his eyes back to his apprentice, "You're weak. You need to act without thinking. You received to many scratches this round to consider it a victory."
Nightfang bristled at him, "Oh what do you know?! You have just as many!"
Whitewhisker bristled back, "I'm your mentor! I say if you pass or fail!"
Nightfang hissed with hate, "Then bring it! I haven't shown you anything yet!"
"Enough!" yowled Thunderstep from where he sat. Despite the fact that he was a fairly young warrior compared to most of the cats in Tigerclan, the fact that his father was the leader had sway with everyone. They obeyed him as if he were deputy, despite his father's insistence that he was a traitor. Darkstar's blood flowed in those veins and that's what counted.

Gingerpaw and Fawntail made there way back to camp with the fresh-kill they'd caught. Setting it in the pile, she caught the end of a training segment with Whitewhisker and one of the she-cats from Lionclan. She felt her heart drop, Whitewhisker was a bloodthirsty warrior. He didn't care about anything unless it had to do with fighting. And now, knowing what the Lionclan cats were doing here, she admired her courage even more. She couldn't imagine having that much courage. To purposefully put yourself into the training that went on here? She was lucky to have Fawntail to mentor her, if she had any other cat, she'd have been ripped to shreds. But when they do the segments, seeing how much the apprentice's have learned, that was what was difficult. It wasn't that Fawntail was soft on her, it's just they didn't fight like this. She just taught her how to, and Gingerpaw had no hate in her heart, and when it came to Tigerclan, that is sort of a required feat. Her whiskers twitched as Thunderstep yowled enough. He obviously didn't like any of this either. Why did things have to end up this way? She may be young, but she could tell when things weren't right, and they were not right here in Tigerclan.

ooc; I hope this isn't too pointless of a post, I just wanted to get Moony and I back into camp. x3

Darkwhisker's whiskers twitched in irritation. Had she been chosen to have a mentor as well? Surely she had some importance. Darkwhisker turned head head to Thunderstep and said with a slightly worried tone. "What's going on? Why don't I get to have a mentor?" She mewed, padding up to him. Her eyes shook with apprehension, her paws shifting, and her tail flicking side to side.

Thunderstep turned a curious eye to the she-cat, "Well, Sharpfang is a mouse-brain so he might not have remembered to give you a mentor. Then again medicine cats are highly revered here in Tigerclan. He might have felt that you weren't under his jurisdiction. Why don't you go talk to Jumpingfox? He's our medicine cat. He could probably tell you more about the prophecy. Go check in with him." Thunderstep nodded in the direction of the medicine cat's den. It was across the way with fronds and ferns as the shelter. The sound of softly flowing water could be heard back there. Shuffling and mutter could also be heard as their medicine cat grumbled about all the work he would have to do since the Lionclan cats were in camp now. More cuts and bruises to take care of. Thunderstep grinned a bit about the bad tempered medicine cat. He wasn't to old, then again he wasn't particularly young. For the most part he was a good and honest cat, except the fact that he was completely under Darkstar's control. "He'll be the tall ginger cat with the bad attitude," Thunderstep laughed with a smile.

OOC: Needed to edit the name XD His name is Jumpingfox
