Darkwhisker giggled for a moment, then dipped her head in a goodbye and padded over to the medicine cat den. SHe peered into the dark tunnel, hearing the sounds of Jumpingfox. "H-hello?" She mewed, slightly hesitant to enter. She stepped inside, paw by paw, until she was fully in the tunnel. "My name is Darkwhisker, former LionClan medicine cat. I was told that you would be my mentor..." She stepped forward, approaching Jumpingfox. Darkwhisker's tail lazily swayed slowly from side to side, trying not to be frightened by the sullen tom.

OOC: guess I'll play Jumpingfox for now :)

The ginger tom turned toward the she cat for a moment and nodded while muttering something unintelligible under his breath. He was counting the number of herbs he had over and over again, habitually numbering them over and over again, "3, 9, 16, 10, 17, 4, 1, 8... 3, 9, 16, 10, 17-" he continued this pattern over and over while Darkwhisker waited behind him. He paid no more attention to her at the moment. Continuing this muttering to himself he finally roared out, "How am I supposed to keep you all from tearing each other limb from limb you stupid cats don't go out and get me more herbs to treat you with?!" His amber eyes flashed darkly for a moment before they rested upon Darkwhisker. He quirked his head to the side, as if seeing her for the first time, and asked, "When'd you get in here?"

Darkwhisker crouched low to the floor, her dim blue eyes wide with fear. "I-I-I-I..." She could only utter. His outburst nearly had made her screech and run, if it hadn't been for her fear rooting her in place. "I've b-been here t-the whole t-t-time..." Darkwhisker studdered, slightly lifting herself up. Was he for real? Darkwhisker did not know, but he was very scary to her. "What was with the shouting?" Darkwhisker braved saying, though her paws still quivering.

When the name of his mentor was told to him, Cliffheart just nodded and looked around. At the sound of his name, a dark gray tom turned from where he was bullying a smaller cat and looked at Cliffheart. The LionClan cat flicked his tail, but Stormfoot just turned back and kept swiping his claws and shouting at the small cat. It worried Cliffheart, the way he was acting. He didn't dare approach his mentor. The tom just looked around the camp. Some of his clanmates were already being trained. It had been a while since Cliffheart had actually trained under another cat, but if this was the price he had to pay, so be it then. When Stormfoot had finally run the small cat out of the camp, he began sauntering over to Cliffheart, who forced himself to stand tall and proud without a speck of fear in his eyes.

At first glance across the camp, her eyes caught the stare of a pair of forest-green eyes, they were her mentor's. As Sunheart padded towards her, Petaldancer could see that the she-cat before her was lithe with a bit of confidence. A suprisingly soft voice emerged from the body of a lean warrior, "I'm Sunheart. And you must be Petaldancer, of course. Let us see what you've got!" As the TigerClan she-cat suddenly crouched down and stalked around Petaldancer, a look of suprise crossed her face. Sunheart abruptly tried to blow down Petaldancer with a slash of her paw. Trying to avoid the coming slash to the air, she saw out of the corner of her eye a undefended side of Sunheart.

Raising her paw she slid underneath the she-cat and raked the underside of her stomach. Petaldancer spun around as Sunheart pelted towards her, putting all her weight onto her front paws, she lashed out with her back legs catching Sunheart squarly in her chest. Sunheart blowed head over tail backwards and Petaldancer took her chances and decided to try a new move she had been working on.  As Sunheart began to stand, a little disorented, Petaldancer charged head on then swiftly leaped sideways, ducking under Sunheart. As soon as she slipped beneath the TigerClan she-cat, she spinned and leaped over Sunheart. Then once more she spinned, but instead of slidding under she ramed into Sunheart's unprotected side.  Sunheart's eyes widdened with curiosity, as Petaldancer began to make her final move, which consisted of her jumping over Sunheart and going under the she-cat.  Wth a swift head-but,Petaldancer slide to the other side and landed on top of Sunheart's back, grabbing the scruff with her teeth, she used one of her paws to bat at Sunheart's head.  This move had the desiered effect as Sunheart was very confused and dizzy. But, it wasn't over yet, as Sunheart had suddenly slid unsheathed claws across Petaldancer's face. Sunheart took this moment to spring onto Petaldancer's back and grip it with her back unsheathed claws, her front paws suddenly covered her eyes. Petaldancer suddenly rolled over so that Sunheart was still at the top, but with a second to spare, the she-cat pushed Sunheart into the air. Her attacker gave a wide eyed squeak as she thudded to the floor. Petaldancer stuck and unsheathed claw under Sunheart's neck and one over her pelt, "Have you had enough?"

Jumpingfox shook his head harshly for a second and turned back to his herbs, "I'm just fed up with going out every day to look for more herbs and not finding enough to keep our warriors in battle condition." The ginger tom snorted and flattened his ears, "But I have to do it!" He sat up in a mocking noble stance, he pressed his right paw over his chest and imitated Darkstar's voice, "It's for the good of the clan! Do your duty Jumpingfox, we all are! Starclan has given you a noble purpose!" Jumpingfox shook his shoulders for a moment, "Well la-di-da! Oh great Darkstar, how we all just jump at the chance to do your bidding!" Jumpingfox sat back down and hunched his shoulders, "I'll give him a noble purpose... Right up his..." The tom began to mutter and curse the last part of his words. His lips continued to move but no sound came out.
After a minute or so of this he turned back to Darkwhisker, as if again seeing her for the first time, "Oh... What are you doing here?" His amber eyes looked at every part of her, assessing what he might need to do to heal her, but he saw nothing wrong. "Who sent you in here? Unless you're hurt get out."

Without hesitation, as soon as they reached the training grounds, Shadestreak pounced. However, due to Bearfur's rather large stature, the tom's attack didn't send him as far as expected. Getting up, Bearfur gave a cheery grin and stalked forwards. He much resembled a brown-pelted Cheshire Cat, as the humans would call it. Malice hidden behind kind words and bright smiles. Suddenly, the smile faded and Bearfur's paw struck out, barely missing Shadestreak's head as he ducked. Slinking beneath Bearfur's grasped, he retreated, confused by the larger tom's agility. Sure, he was missing his tail, which threw off his balance, and he was a lumbering mass of nothing but muscle... but Bearfur knew how to size up his enemy. Having already seen the fighting of many TigerClan cats, he knew that, despite the fact they each had something that made them individual, they all fought brutally and without hesitation. Almost as if they gave up their conscience in payment for power. Which, to many cats, seemed to be the case. With Shadestreak striking out a paw, Bearfur countered it by throwing his body towards the now vulnerable tom, throwing him back. So far, the spar had yet to shed any blood. With claws digging into the dirt, Shadestreak was determined to change that. And Bearfur knew that. But he wasn't about to let him get the first hit. So in response, Bearfur quickly tackled the smaller tom, claws digging into his shoulders.

"Listen, Shadestreak. As fun as this is," Bearfur meowed in a bored tone and bored expression, "this just isn't a challenge. Your small size has no effect on me. Your menacing hisses have no effect. Don't you get it?" Giving him another Cheshire-like grin, he jumped back. Sloppily, but managing to make it look, at least, slightly graceful. Then, backing up, he sat on his haunches easily, daring the tom to step forward and take the challenge he just issued. "Or are you not TigerClan material? I did promise to surpass you. I just didn't expect it to be this easy," he taunted, eyes dancing. Admittedly, Bearfur was enjoying the fact that he could toy with this warrior's mind so easily. Or, should he say, all of TigerClan's warriors so easily. Two cats had begun to watch Bearfur, exchanging amused glances between each other.

"Like I said. Are you sure you weren't born in TigerClan?" spat Shadestreak. "I will stand down for now. But my pride is hurt."

"Don't worry. I expect retaliation sometime soon!" chirped Bearfur, standing and trotting off. He was glad that Shadestreak had taken his fighting as brute force, rather than an examination of the opponent. Licking at the cuts along his left side, his brows furrowed as Shadestreak stalked away. Bearfur had discovered that every cat's pride was easily hurt in this clan, and their patience was much to be desired. However, the toms fought more brutally than the she-cats. Shrugging it off, Bearfur placed another cheery grin on his face as he passed the two cats. "Would you two like to spar as well?" Despite the smile, his tone had a hidden edge, and his eyes showed nothing but animosity and power.

"No," replied one of them, stalking away without a second glance.

"Maybe another time," replied the other cat, following the other.

Bearfur nodded in triumph. He had gotten off easy. He knew that. But he had still been reckless, letting Shadestreak get the first blow.

 ooc; ebbs, that's amazing!!(:

ic;
Kestreleye had watched the tom named Bearfur's battle. He was easily amused with the way he easily had broken Shadestreak's moral and pride with nothing but words. However, when he had seen the expression on Bearfur's face, he could not help but shudder at the thought, and remark that, despite his smile, yes, he was much like a TigerClan cat. So he had declined a spar and stalked away. Beeflight quickly followed after him. However, the younger she-cat tended to... how you would say, annoy him to wits end.

"Do you not have anyhting more productive to do?" he questioned, face blank. Behind his voice was a threat. But Beeflight merely ignored it.

"I was just wondering how you came back with all those warriors."

"Fawntail dragged me out to see if Thunderstep was there. He was. Warriors were. We took them here. End of story. Now go do something productive for the clan, rather than following me around like a lost kit!" snapped Kestreleye, sending a hard stare to the she-cat. She shuddered at his expression and quickly scurried away.

"I said are you finished?" Petaldancer asked again, in a more demanding tone. The she-cat was quite annoyed by how long it was for Sunheart to reply. A short retort came from Sunheart as she pushed herself to a sitting position, "Well you certainly know how to fight. But the real question is, where did you learn how to?" Petaldancer gave a snort of ammusement, "Like I really am going to share my secrets with you!" Sunheart gave a look of suprise at the haughty she-cat and snarled, "Your still an apprentice though, don't you know how to keep your tounge? I'm still a warrior, I could just as easily be a threat towards you!" Petaldancer settled down on her haunches and replied," You? A threat towards me? Ha!" She threw back her head and chortled, "I'm sorry, but you are really quite small in stature aren't you? You couldn't even hurt a fly, let alone me." With a small hiss, Sunheart stalked away, probably to comfort her bleeding pride. With a huff, Petaldancer realized her right cheek was bleeding and so was her pelt. "Mouse-dung." She mewed, as she began to clean her wounds.
