Sunheart gave a smirk as she followed Whitewhisker. Following the horrible scene was the faintly metallic scent of blood, drifting in on the breeze, laughing at her. Petaldancer streaked across the grounds towards the almost still-like body of Nightfang, a strong surge of abhorrence corsed throught her body for the murderous, blood-thirsty, mean, selfish, despicable tom. As Petaldancer stood over Nightfang's crippled body, the ground beneath her feet was being soaked in a crimson blood bath. Petaldancer stomach turned over on itself, the metalic scent of the blood almost overwellmed her. But the she-cat did not waver or faint a thought was almost on playback in her mind. Nightfang. Blood. Nightfang covered in blood. Dead. Murderer. Were the words that flipped through Petal's mind like a projector, but an ever stronger urge pushed the other one back. Vengeance. Petaldancer moved to help the injured she-cat up, "We need you. Your my friend, our friend."

ooc; if this isn't okay i'll delete it. i just remembered how bearfur is protective of her and... this is what came of it.

As Bearfur left camp with Shadestreak, they passed by the bloody mess that was Nightfang. Red stained the TigerClan cat's muzzle and as soon as he passed by, Bearfur lunged, immediately pinning down the tom. Unsheathing his claws, they dug into Whitewhisker's body. Seething, Bearfur gave a rather sadistic grin and snarled. A crowd was gathering because they were not too far from camp, but that wasn't what was on his mind. He didn't know what was on his mind. "Never touch her again." There was a sharp edge to his voice, and his sight was red with fury. Leaning forwards, he watched as the tom gasped for breath under his weight. Stepping back, he watched as Whitewhisker gasped for breath like a fish out of water, wide eyes staring at Bearfur. Head low in anger, he sat on his haunches.

Nightfang gave a weak smile to her rescuers, "Thank you both... You don't know how much..." her voice trailed off before she could finish. He throat felt horrible now that the adrenaline was wearing off. Pain coursed through her where Whitewhisker had pierced through her fur. "I just want to go back to camp," she managed to say. She leaned on both Cliffheart and Petaldancer as they led her away. Her legs were still weak and the blood began to harden on her neck. Today was the worst day of the young she-cat's life. The only was it could had been worse was if Whitewhisker had managed to succeed in killing her. She had not seen Bearfur attack Whitewhisker, the two were still a bit further away then she was. Though had she seen, a weary smile would have appeared on her face with admiration for her friend. With her head hanging low, the trio padded by Bearfur and the crowd and headed backt to camp. As they walked the she-cat whispered, "Thank you."

OOC: That's perfectly fine Resta :D

Cliffheart no longer felt it right to talk to Nightfang and say what he wanted to with Petaldancer and Bearfur near, so he just let them do the talking. He was a little scared of Whitewhisker, but he would depend on his anger at the white tom to carry him through. But he would never let that evil TigerClan savage severly hurt her again. He would guard Nightfang until she was healed before he let Whitewhisker take her back out again. He walked on, paws landing heavily. Adrenaline still pulsed through him, which was good, because he was expecting a fight when he returned to camp, either with Stormfoot or Whitewhisker, or one of the countless others who would attack.

Inside and outside the she-cat was seething with anger and temptation to reach out and claw Whitewhisker's pupils out, pelt bristling the she-cat let Nightfang lean on her as the headed towards the camp. Her eyes gave a look of comfort and replied, "We're practicaly family." Her soft pads crossed the grassy clearing as she pondered her thoughts. Oh that peice of foxdung. I could just tear him to little tiny pieces and feed them to a fox little by little. She shook her head. Mer... Wow, that sounded stupid in my head.

Nightfang nodded softly at the two as the entered camp. She nodded to the both of them, "I think I can make it to the medicine cat den from here. Thank you both." She dipped her head softly before moving away and before they could protest.

On the edge of the crowd Thunderstep's jaw dropped. Nightfang was so badly injured after her training session. His heart dropped and he felt badly for her. How could the small she-cat hope to survive here? Then he looked to the two that had brought her here, that was the answer to his question. Her friends would keep her safe. A small grin appeared on his face at the thought. At least she had allies. On the edge of the tom's vision, he saw his father appear out of his den. A look os dissatisfaction appear when he caught sight of Nightfang.
A snort passed from the large dark leader, "Weakling."
Thunderstep resisted the urge to spit an insult toward his father. He would wait and bide his time. Tigerclan would soon fall, he knew it.

As he sat there, Shadestreak pushed through the crowd, a look of submission on his face. "Bearfur. Darkstar would like a word with you." The large tom looked up with a foreign look in his eyes as he nodded and followed the TigerClan cat. "He said that it's... important," explained Shadestreak. He had a newfound respect for the tom, watching at the crowd of cats parted from him in fear. Scurrying to catch up with Bearfur's long strides, he watched as he emotionlessly walked past his friends, making sure to avoid seeing the wounded she-cat. Shadestreak was stunned with the pride in his step - though it could have been something else. He didn't know. "He's there."

Bearfur nodded, then looked at the leader. Not in fear but in... acceptance? "Darkstar," meowed Bearfur, walking towards Darkstar. "You called?" he jeered mockingly. He saw his fellow LionClan warriors looks as he stood defiantly before the leader.

Darkstar grinned darkly as Bearfur stepped closer, "Ah yes, yes I did." The proud leader removed his gaze from the brown warrior. "Tell me Bearfur, why did you join Tigerclan. Be honest with me." The dark tabby sat down and wrapped his tail around his power legs. He poised himself in a noble fashion, though hate and dishonestly ruled his heart. For a moment his dark green eyes flicked toward Bearfur, "Be honest, why did you come here?" Darkstar had never seen an outside understand the ways of his clan so clearly as Beafur had. Not even all of his own warriors did. Bearfur though... his demeanor and prowess, he was truly a cat after his own heart. If only his own son had been this tom, then all would have been perfect for Darkstar.

"Why? What a silly question that is. Of course I came here for power," replied Bearfur in an easy-going tone. His eyes however met Darkstar's cool gaze and he gave that wicked grin. He would play along. "I mean, your clan's ideals were perfect for me. So when they brought up that prophecy, I decided that this was the moment to come here." Staring at the sky he sobered his grin and looked at his friends, hoping they would understand he was lying and playing along. Placing a look of digust on his face, he continued. "The cats of LionClan could not help me achieve what I desired. But I knew that you, Darkstar, could. That my desire for power could be fed here -- my insatiable hunger, cured." Sneering, he looked at Darkstar. Turning his back to the leader, he sent a soft gaze to Nightfang, which immediately hardened. "But you tell me, Darkstar. Why have you called upon me at this moment? Whitewhisker's life was within my grasp as Shadestreak fetched me to speak to you."

Darkstar's grin pulled even further on his wicked lips, "Oh Bearfur, you could have Whitewhisker's life any moment you want. However, why not savor the challenge? What good would it be to just kill him? Make him suffer, show him your true power, let him see that his life truly hangs on your paws." The leader's green gaze bore in to Bearfur's back. "However, at the moment, I have use for Whitewhisker. He needs to make an example of the weaklings. Those who aren't worthy will not survive. You need to let go of your loyalty to those who came with you." Standing, the dark leader stalked to Beafur's side. He stood next to the large tom, evenly matched in size, "Don't let old feelings of camaraderie blind you to the true path to power." He sat again, looking out amongst his clan.
"I need you to be a warrior of Tigerclan. Not a weakling, so from now on I will teach you personally. You have great potential Bearfur. Don't disappointment." With that he turned and stalked back in to his den to let his words ring through his new apprentice's mind.
