Ebonystar flicked his tail for Roughpaw to be quiet for a little longer. He let the calls of all the cats congratulate the newest warrior, before he waved his tail for silence. "You will all have a chance to congratulate her after i take care of the next order of buisness." he turned to see Rosetail and his kits, Rosetail was trying to in some last minute grooming in. He saw Nightkit, the son that was the exact copy of himself sitting calmly but he could see excitment behind his ice blue eyes. Ebonystar felt a little tug on his heart, Rosetail had had a little talk with him saying she felt he wasn't cut out for warrior life and instead she thought he was better suited for the life of a medicine cat. It's almost like watching myself take another walk in life, he thought to himself. "As we all know my kits have become six moons old and it is time for the to become apprentices." he beconed them over with a flick of his tail. Rosetail lead her kits across the clearing so the stood in front of him. "Lilykit, Autumkit, and Thunderkit" he began, "from this day forward until you have earned your warrior names you will known as Lilypaw, Autumpaw and Thunderpaw." he glanced at Rosetail pirde swelling in her chest. "Rosetail even though you are the mother of these kits, you have shown that you are protecting and fair, I trust you will pass these traits to lilypaw." Rosetal's eyes glowed warmly and she touched noses with her daughter. "Thunderheart, I believe it is time you had an apprentice also. You are a fiece warrior who has shown good judgement, I know you will pass these traits on to Autumpaw." Thunderheart padded forward with pride in his eyes as he tuched noses with his apprentice. Ebonystar looked at Thunderpaw, excitment filled the young tom's eyes as he looked around the clearing to see if he could figure out who his mentor was going to be. "Thunderpaw, I have decided that i am going to be your mentor." Thunderpaw eyes shot open wide as he stared at his father. Ebonystar leaned down and touched noses with him. "Now Nightpaw, I know you have another destiny besides the path of a warrior. Form now on Lightwing our medicine cat will be your mentor."

Once Ebonystar finished giving the ceremonies, he turned to Roughpaw. "Come to my den and we will talk there." he turned and padded away to his den with Roughpaw right behind him. They sat down and he looked to her, "Okay now you have my undivided attention," he mewed softly.

Ebonystar was still shocked by this strange news. Cats can go there if they had seen death? He had seen many things in his life, unfortunantlly death was almost on the top of the list. The firsst time he had seen death was when he was with his leader on a hunting patrol. He had just been made deputy because the former deputy Blacktear died by greencough but he had not been there to see it. They were about to finish when a band of rouges had ambushed them and taken Ivystar's last three lives. "They wanted me to know this?" he asked, "Show me where this Gingerwaterclan is." He ordered urgently.
