Wow Shadow! You caught the hang of using a tablet REAL fast. Is it easy? Mah daddy promised to buy me one and PSP when I get back from my trips so I can start drawing like 'real artists' as my mom says. Lawl. Anyway, my argument was that I can't color for whip cream, and when I scan a pencil drawing, it looks crappy. so yeah ^_^ Besides, there are so many freakin tutorials out on DA that it would be really hard not to find one.

Well, Duskstar, having a tablet is like drawing on paper with the advantage of UNDO. Just scan in the drawing anyways, create a layer above it (get Paint.NET if you don't have Photoshop) and just trace the lines to make your digital lineart. Delete the sketch layer and create a layer underneath the lineart. Color in the main color, then add tiny bits of highlight/shading colors ALL OVER it. Use the Gaussian blur. Add a layer on top. Add another (darker shade) of color only where shadows would be. Gaussian blur. New layer. Add highlights only where highlights would be. Gaussian blur. Use the selection tool on the lineart layer, then switch back to the color layer, then Expand the selection about 1-2 pixels. Hit Delete. Zoom in and erase color that still comes out of the lines (usually at sharp corners). Merge all of the layers with color (NOT THE LINEART). Create a layer above the color, but UNDER the lineart. Color in the white of the eye. Make sure you use several light shades of grey too. Don't go out of the lines for the eye. Create a layer above that. Use Dark Grey (nearly black, but still grey) and fill in where the entire color part of the eye will be. Create a layer above that. Use the darkest shade of eye color and color over the dark grey where there's still a small grey border. Add another shade of the eye color on top of that, going more towards the center of the eye. Add a much lighter shade (but only very little) a little more towards the middle. Erase enough so you can see a proper pupil. Add very small (1-2 pixel) highlights of a VERY LIGHT shade of the eye color. Then add one larger highlight connecting the edge of the pupil to the white of the eye.
If you don't get what this means, I'll go steal mom's laptop and make a tutorial (mine can't do screenshots).

Because of this, I need a new .5 mm Micron. XD Uhh... Selling on deviantArt for $10. Done on cardstock paper, which is 4 times thicker than copy paper. For those of us who don't speak German, "Spring Nicht" means "Don't Jump".
Cat-Fox... IDK. Something. Selling for $5 on deviantArt.
