Nightfrost unsheathed her claws. "No. No problemo." she mewed with a rebellious edge to her voice. "In fact, I was just on my way to gather some herbs." Nightfrost had no empathy for Ebonycloud, or anyone.

Gracesong watched the medicine cat intently as she entered Wolfstar's den. Her claws were unsheathed, and Ebonycloud was hissing at her. 'Please,' She pleaded silently, 'Don't interrupt my night with Wolfstar...'

Ebonycloud scoffed at her, "Oh, such a convineant time to go get herbs! If you think you can do better than why dont you go look for someone to spend the day with! Oh thats right... your a medicine cat!" His lips pulled back in to a snarl and his claws unsheathed. The sane part of his brain was screachin, 'what are you doing! She id the medicine cat have some respect!' The prideful side of him yowled back, 'Are you kidding me! She has just insulted my honor! She thinks of me as a stupid apprentice you cant even talk to someone younger than me.' His fur bristled along his spine and his usual calm deminor was gone.

"Well then, we'll just have to make sure that our warriors actually, StarClan forbid, sleep!" He laughed a little, then his head snapped up to the commotion outside. "What are they doing now? Don't they know that they fight the enemies not each other?" He sighed apologetically and looked to Gracesong. "I apologize, I need to go sort this out." He meowed softly, standing up and padding outside of his cave. "Nightfrost!" He called. "Ebonycloud!" His head snapped over to Ebonycloud. "What in StarClan's name are you two doing?! It would seem as if both of you are in different clans and are fighting over something!" He yowled, walking gracefully over to step in between them.

Ebonycloud flattened his ears and hissed, "Ask her! She started it!" he knew how much like an apprentice he sounded but he was hurt inside. His fur settled on his shoulders a little more but his pain filled gaze never waviered.

Ebonycloud quivered all over, his anger boiled even more. He couldn't stand it. He turned and pelted away. His long legs glided gracefully over the earth. They helped him be one of the fasted cats in the clan. As he passed Mothpaw he mewed quietly, "I am sorry." and dashed on.
