"Funny....that you should dash out of camp as soon as Gracesong padded into the warrior's den, and yowled that he was dead. Her yowl was loud, you would have heard it." He narrowed his eyes. "You are lying to me. I can see it in your eyes. Tell me the truth." His voice was harsh, and commanding.

Gracesong avoided her brother's eyes. "I walked into the Warriors den, looking for something. I had a strong urge that something was wrong. I saw a muscular figure standing over Nightfire's body. It ran out and I saw it's light green eyes as it passed. It looked familliar, then I remembered..." She tried to keep the tears from comming, but it was no use. How could she forget the incident at her old home?

"Hopekit." She squeaked, "I remembered Hopekit." She looked up and caught her brother's eye. He shook from Blackheart's grasp and ran to his sister. They collapsed in a heap. Dovewing gently stroked her back with his tail. Gracesong cried. "Hopekit wasn't our fault, Scourge made me do it. I regret every part of our past, you know that." He told her.

"Where we used to live, Bloodclan, Our sister was very small and frail. Her name was Hopekit. We trained had for the clan, and we... We had to do something to prove ourselves worthy of becoming a full member of the clan. Our sister was very sick with Blackcough." He paused and took a deep breath, "Scourge found and injured our mother. Gracesong had to finish her off." With that, his sister cried harder, "I.. I had to murder Hopekit."
