SilkPaw yawned, stretched, and walked into the sunlight. Hungry for fresh kill, she bounded out to the pile. After devouring a small vole, she smelled a strange scent, almost kittypet like. It was a kittypet! SilkPaw playfully remarked, " Hey! What's a kittypet doing in our camp?" Ebonycloud glared at SilkPaw, but then softened his expression and explained. A newfound look of respect washed over SilkPaw's face. "I-I'm sorry, TabbyStripe. Welcome back to the clan..."
Ebonycloud smiled softly at the apprentice. Now that young cat new that Stripes was a cat to be respected and turned. He looked sadly and yet fondly at Stripes, "Dont worry. You will always be a friend of Windclan."
Stripes smiled. "You're right, though, WindClan is getting smaller, even smaller than before," she said, her eyes wide. "Strange scents? I don't think it's kittypet, none of the kittypets I see come here. The rogues I've met lately have a strange scent, maybe that's it?"
Ebonycloud nodded. His mind plunged deep in to thought. He ice blue eyes became distant as he stared at the sky."Stripes... it would probably be better if you went home. I dont want you getting hurt. You arent a clan cat anymore. This matter is clan buisness. Please leave it to me." He turned from her sadly and walked a few paces away to be alone.
Falcondance sauntered in to camp with wary eyes on the new cats. He lifted a brow at he recognizd Tabbystripe and Nightbreeze. His wiskeres twitched but he said nothing. He eyes trailed over to Ebonycloud. Their deputy had been unusually sad after he returned to find Tabbystripe was gone. Falcondance would have been sad to if his best fried had gone but Ebonycloud had sunk in to a deep depression for some odd reason.
Silverstep padded out of the den to get some fresh-kill, and noticed that most of the clan was gathered near the pile. She overheard the conversation and walked over. "Hello, Stripes, it is so good to see you! How is...life?" More seriously, she added, "You haven't seen any...new cats around our territory, have you?"
Falcondance rolled his at how serious Silverstep was being. He moved in closer to the group of cats. "Thats just like you Silverstep." he smiled, "Getting straight to buisness." His tail flicked back and forth in a teasing fashion.
"Guys, may I speak?" Night mewed nervously, scuffling her paws against the ground. "It's of urgent matters."

Yeah, we all have those moments. And I advise you not to put them to waste.
SilkPaw perked her ears and the fur on her neck stood up ; she was alert and excited. It had been a long time since anything interesting happened in the clan. " Please, go on, Night!" Silkpaw mewled in anticipation.
Stripes nodded sadly to Ebonycloud. Then she turned to Silverstep. "I haven't seen anything," she replied. "I'll be going, then, it was great to see you." Before anyone else could reply, she turned around and ran out of camp, slowly making her way home.
"I'm not supposed to tell you this, but, the rogues are planning an invasion." Night explained.
