Silent sighed as he padded over to the river.
It's been a week since it froze,and prey was scarce.
There was no other place to go hunting or fishing,and he was starving.

Powerpaw had wanted to go out hunting, but his mentor had said he could'nt go out yet. Well knowing Powerpaw, he did'nt listen. He jumped up, he ran out of camp, he searched for food, leaf-bare was harsh this year, but Powerpaw knew the Clan would hold strong, he walked up near the river, he did'nt even see Silent, he was far from him, but he was close, he placed his paw of the frozen river, he sighed "Great..It's too frozen to break open.."

Silent noticed the apprentice,and padded up to him.
"And it won't melt for another two moons." He meowed,unsheating his claws.
He traced a hole in the ice with his claws,and poked the piece out.
"Try and make it bigger,then you'll get prey."

Unsheating his claws again,he made the hole slightly bigger.
