"Thanks" Birchpaw mewed, putting it in her mouth and chewing. She spit out the poulstace, And chewed the horsetail. She mixed the two with a paw, and spread them on his wounds. She covered the scratches with cobwebs. She sat next to him and looked at his face. A scratch had taken the very tip off of his ear.
"Who did this." Birchpaw asked cooly. She looked at the cats around her, her own face blank. "Who did this?" She repeated, yowling. She wanted an answer. Birchpaw knew they wouldn't know, but whoever did this to him was dead. The sooner she found his attacker, the better.

Silentwind flinched as Birchpaw yelled.
"Calm down.None of us know,but I'm sure we'll find them.In the mean time,you should take him back to camp.I'll try and follow the scent." He mewed,placing more cobwebs on the apprentice.

bic: Birchpaw hissed in annoyance. He was her friend. She would do anything to find his attacker. She touched her nose to his. His cool face instantly calmed her.
"I'm going to the spot you found him to see if I can find anything." She said, calmer, "Does anyone want to lead me there?"

"Okay." Birchpaw said quietly, still intent on Hawkpaw's face in her mind. Would he be okay? She hoped His wounds wouldn't be infected. He souldn't be walking around for a few days. She shook her head. She had to stop thinking about him, and start thinking about his attacker.
