Bella blushed at Snyder's remark. "Sorry, I can't help but always fret about how I look." She looked down at her silver flats nervously (a/n: a type of shoe). "It's somewhat of a habit. I'm a very self-conscious teenager."
Glancing at the clock, she gasped. "I guess we don't have time to go to the park after all!" she exclaimed. "Come on, we're going to be later for school!" She heaved her backpack over her shoulder and dashed towards the door.
