Warrior Cats: The Four Clans

Sit down, my kit, and I'll tell you a story that will have you thinking about visiting your ancestors.

There was once three kits, who would always get into trouble like you.
There was one cat, who had a pelt as golden as the LionClan cats. His eyes were two, blazing fires. For this, his name was Lionkit. Lionkit was as fierce as a Lion, and he was the greatest warrior the lake clans would ever see.
He had a sister, who's pelt was as black as midnight. No cat would see her in the night if it wasn't for her wide green eyes. They seemed to reflect all the plants in the forest. For this, she was known as Hollykit. She stuck by the warrior code, and was very close to other cats. She was good with friends, and settled disputes calmly, and with an eager sweetness to her voice.
Hollykit and Lionkit had a brother. Now, he was a silver tabby who looked like the streams that run through clan territorys. Especially RiverClan's wide river. He had eyes as blue as the lake, and seemed to see everything. But this was not true in the living world. In the world of the lake, he could not see a thing. He was blind. But in the dream world, and the world of StarClan, he saw everything.
These three kits became apprentices. Jaykit wanted to become a warrior, but that surely wasn't so. StarClan had other plans for him. He followed the mysterious path of a Medicine cat.
While they were apprentices, the three learned to face many things in their life. Hollypaw learned the intense need for a Warrior code. Jaypaw learned to walk through dreams as StarClan cats could. Lionpaw learned aincent battle moves, and things that would one day prove him worthy of the highest privlage. But then he fell in love.
Lionpaw found tunnels that were dug underground by even older ancestors. That's a story for another time, but he would meet there with the WindClan apprentice, Heatherpaw. They would pretend to be their own Clan, and they would spend all their time togeather.
As you know, that's not a very good thing for a Clan cat. One day, Three WindClan kits followed Heatherpaw doen into the tunnels. The Three apprentices and Heatherpaw headed down there and saved the kits, preventing a battle between WindClan and ThunderClan.
They traveled to the mountains, and Lionpaw fought the first battle in his life. He defended the Tribe cats from rogues almost single handedly. He came out without so much as a scratch on him.
They headed back to the forest, and fought a large battle between all four clans on ThunderClan territory. StarClan cast a shadow over the moon to stop the fighting, but in that battle, Lionpaw swore he'd get revenge on Heatherpaw, for she had used the tunnels to get WindClan there. Or so he had thought.
Hollypaw and Lionpaw recieved their Warrior names, Hollyleaf, and Lionblaze.
Soon after, Jaypaw became Jayfeather, but his future was uncertain, as was all three. They were each gifted by someone greater than StarClan for their abilitys, and no cat had any idea that was even possible. The three kept their powers a secret, but did what they had to do. Firestar, their grand father, was informed of their abilitys, and the Three Warriors announced their connections with a higher power to the clan. They refused to stop believing in StarClan. Surely, their warrior ancestors could protect them from anything?
The three left the forest, knowing that the other clans wouldn't accept them if they knew their secrets. None of the clans ever heard from the three again, and only ThunderClan's elders told their story. They referred to them as the THree of Power.
Yes, my kit, you are close to becomming an apprentice.
And yes, I am one of the cats of the legend. Your uncles have not met you, because I never told them you existed. I hid you from them in StarClan. Now it is time, my child, for you to return to your clan. I may not see you again, but I wish with all my heart that you try your best to fit in with ThunderClan.
Even though Firestar is no longer leader, you share many noble cat's blood. For this, you are truely a savior to the clans. Not just ThunderClan.
Remember the story of Hollyleaf, my child, because I hope you take comfort in the knowlage that your mother did many things to keep you a kit long enough to save the newly named clans.

You have a hard life ahead of you.



<sup>It has been a long time sense the time of the Three of Power. All the Clans have been living in peace. ShadowClan thriving more and more in their prey-rich territory. ThunderClan is recovering from Dawnstar's terrible, crewl ruling. She tried to make the clan strong, but ended up tearing it to pieces, ending in a violent death from a twoleg monster. The new ThunderClan leader has much work ahead of him. In RiverClan, the river is filled with fish constantly. WindClan has no problems on the open moorland, but a weak threat from Rogues. The most of the problems, is after StarClan gave ThunderClan it's new name, LightningClan; WindClan, Skyclan; RiverClan, MistClan; And ShadowClan, DarkClan; The four clans heard nothing from their ancestors.

There was three things the four Clans had to accept. One: MistClan had misteriously stopped showing up to gatherings. Two: SkyClan's gorge flooded and they now live very close to the LightningClan border. Three: How could StarClan stop speaking to them when the end of all they know is surely drawing near? 

The Lake-side cats had been deprived of their old Forest home centuries ago, when the Great Firestar ruled LightningClan. It was at the time known as ThunderClan. Forget about the other problems... those things will make themselves more urgent when the time is right. The one thing the Clans should worry about for now, is if they have enough faith to survive. Maybe StarClan can't help them, maybe now ..
