Ryota unfolded the note. His black eyes scanned it quickly. So he was right - her name was Lexi. His expression changed slightly as he read her suggestion to be friends. He didn't really know what to think. His mind wasn't sure whether to laugh, scowl, smile, or something else.

Ryota finally wrote a reply on the paper. It was one word, as his last few notes had been:

Sure.

He passed the note to Lexi, glancing at the clock and wondering when Ms. Erised's painful lecture would end.

Ryota passed the note,

It said: Sure

She smiled and put in her pocket.

The bell finally rang to get out of this class. Lexi grabbed all her stuff and shoved it in her bag. She stood up and walked toward his desk. " Um so what's your next class?... I mean after lunch and all...." She looked at him.

The bell rang, and Ryota let out a sigh of relief. He scooped up his things and dropped it into his black backpack. He stood up, slinging one of the straps over his left shoulder. Lexi startled him by speaking; he turned around to face her after she trailed off.

"English. Mr. Retep," was his two-word reply. His black eyes carefully scanned her face; his own expression was neutral and emotionless.

Lex looked at him, " Are you ever friendly? " she said coldly. After a few seconds. She turned and grabed her black I-pod nano out of her backpack. She slinged it back over her shoulder and dug in her pocket and gave him the note.

Ryota scowled and snatched the note. "If you don't know the answer to that by now, I'd say there's something wrong with your brain," he retorted coolly. He strode toward the classroom door, dropping the note in the garbage on his way out.

As he walked through the hallway, he couldn't help feeling a little guilty. Lexi hadn't done anything to him... But she'll need to learn that I'm not a nice guy," Ryota thought to himself, smirking contentedly.

Lexi snarled and walked away, she thought, " What a jerk ! I just was trying to talk to someone, since I don't have any friends..... " she turned and walked to te cafateria. Well whatever to him. She went to a table and sat down far away from everyone. She pulled out her ipod and put in her plugs in her ears and closed her eyes. Lex thought I just need to get away.

Ooc: Well, we're in class, and it's pretty much lunchtime (what sky and flight said) so just write about you going to lunch and stuff..... =D

Ic: Taylor jumped up in supprise when the bell rang. Anneka didn't reply to her text, so she just gave up and started writing her essay. By the end of class, she already had 2 and a quarter (just 1/3 of the 3rd page) pages done. She leaned back with happiness and supprise. Taylor finished her essay, and it was pretty good! She picked up her purse and scribbled down her homework in her binder, picked up her essay, and jammed it into the teacher's hand when she left the classroom. She ran down into the lunchroom which was already overflowing with teenage kids, then she slid next to a black-haired girl with green eyes, wearing black. She turned to look at her, and saw the girl staring back, so Taylor quickly turned her head back and blushed slightly, and finally Taylor realized the girl was pale white with red lips, JUST LIKE HER! She gasped, and thought the girl wasn't as pale as she was.
"It must be a crimpesses!" Taylor mumbled. She turned to the girl.
"Hey, I'm Taylor. Who are you?" She asked, a bit coldly.

Ryota skulked to his locker. He spun the combination quickly and yanked open the locker. Stuffing his books in and taking out three others for his next classes, his movements were uncharistically fierce. He slammed his locker shut, almost angrily. Then froze. "What's my problem?" he muttered to himself. "There's no reason I should be so angry." Deep inside, he knew there was a reason, and a perfectly good one.
Ryota walked into the cafeteria. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Lexi at a table, but he forced himself to keep his dark gaze away from her. He went to a bench in the corner that was against the wall. Sitting down and resting against the wall, he pulled the hood on his black jacket over his eyes and slumped down with a sigh.

Ooc: No he's not emo. He just likes the color black. xD

Lexi saw Ryota. She turned away and zipped up her jacket. She was annoyed with him, Lex, turned on her nano higher.She smirked and turned on " Breath " by Taylor Swift. She closed her eyes and then opened and blinked. Her vision turned a littile blurry, because she haden't eaten since yesterday at lunch.
