Thornleaf stared into the wide opening and saw Firepaw talking about something about Owlscar. "I'll find Owlscar no matter what!" he said. "Even if it means giving my life!" Thornleaf saw him looking at their leader, Flazestar. "I won't rest till I do. I'll keep searching!" Thornleaf smiled at the brave apprentice, promising their leader something. He padded up to Firepaw. "Hey apprentice!" he said with a smile on his face. "The last time I saw Owlscar was... with Featherstorm. I left them and then he was gone." Thornleaf's face filled with sorrow at the loss of his mentor. "I... didn't find a trace left, I don't think anything would've killed him, unless a two-leg took him. I..." his voice trailed off and Thornleaf was on the verge of tears.

Spiritdancer saw Thornleaf and she padded over to him and Firepaw. "Thornleaf I know this is hard for you and I promise we will do all we can to find him." She knew this was a difficult time for him and she was trying to be supportive but it wasn't her thing. "I'm going to see if I can get a trail outside of camp would you like to come or wait and see if he comes home?"she gave him the choice. "Firepaw you are more than welcome to come to"she added to the apprentice.

Firepaw smiled. "yeah I'm coming!" he said proudly.
He looked at thornleaf. "I will bring him back." he looked at their deputy. "come on!"
He looked at flazestar. "I usally don't break a promise."

Thornleaf bent down to lick the young apprentice's ear, and bowed his head down to the deputy. "Yes Spirtdancer, that'll help. But... it's just hard for me. He taught me so much.. loved me..." he sighed and looked at Firepaw. "Go on," he nudged. "You can lead a group to find Owlscar!" he looked at Spirtdancer. "That is.. if it's ok to you." he added to the deputy.

"It's just fine"she said smiling and then licked his shoulder respectfully and smiled at him. "Take care while we are away." she said and then turned to the apprentice "Come on then lets get going so we have enough time to look before it gets to late"she smield at Thornleaf and then lead the apprentice out the entrance

Firepaw followed her. "spiritdancer..." he said softly.
He looked up at her. "do you think he's okay?" his voice shaking as he said that. What if he was dead? He dident want flazestar to be sad. Most importantly.... He didn't want to break a promise. He looked down at the ground again and waited for a reply.

OOC: tree you can't apperear out of no where. I want firepaw to my apprentice.



Mudstone padded out of featherstorm's burrow and went to the group. "I'm coming to." She said determend. She loved Owlscar very much like a brother. "I won't won't acept no for an answer!" SHe said. If anything had happened to him she knew shee would never forgive herself.

He looked at spiritdancer. "please let her go. I want to find owlscar."
Although firepaw never really knew owlscar like the others, but everyone liked him. He had to find him for everyone. Especially flazestar.
