About Us
 Pawz is the perfect place to get the pet you want.  Pawz has a variety of pets, all with their own background and personalities, which ensures you will get the perfect pet. They come from places such as owners who can no longer care for their pets, pets from streets, abused pets, and even pets rescued from puppy mills. We don't even support the puppy mills, we find illegal puppy mills and then shut them down, then rescue the dogs, cats, and any other animals in them.  Then we help the animals, nursing them back into health both physically and emotionally. 

How to Adopt a Pet:
  Please take a look at our available pets list.  If you see a pet you like, then you can fill out the form below and post it completed on this thread that you'd like to adopt it.  If you don't see the pet you want, then you can also look at the unavailable pets. These are pets that are not yet available for adoption. When they will be put up is undecided, but they will be adopted out as soon as possible.

   Opossum Adoptables:
   Requirements:  
    Food: To do this, take a picture or draw a fruit or vegetable, or else your opossum will dig through the trash in search of leftover food. 
    Habitat: Your opossum will want someplace to call his own, so draw or take a picture of a box-like comfortable bed/home for it with a large hole so the opossum can enter and exit, as well as breathe well.

     Breed: Purebreed Pug
     Gender: Male
     Appearance: Fawn
     Age: Two months
     Temperament: Playful, but is happy to just take a nap on your lap.  Pugs are described as "a lot in a small space", meaning they're like big dogs but in a small appearance. They're loveable and caring, and this one is no different.
     History: Rescued from a puppy mill, they were attempting to sell the dog to a pet store, which would sell him for over $1700 dollars, but the puppy mill was shut down when he was about three weeks old, so he was able to get the care and attention for the correct amount of time from his mother and suffered no physical or emotional damage.

   Species: Cat
   Gender: Female
   Age: Two years
   Appearance: Tortoiseshell (orange, black, white)
   Temperament: Sometimes wants to be left alone, often when there are loud noises, but most of the time will meow for attention and is happy just taking a nap or being pet when it is quiet.
    History: She was a stray cat, but we think she may have once had a home and had kittens, because she had good temperament and health.
