"Thanks for taking your time and staying seperate." She nodded to the others, looking down. There were soft imprints where grass faded to mud. There was a small path that looked as if it'd been troden on often. "I saw the DADA teacher come in here; I was paying attention, but I still fell. I hadn't adjusted my weight or anything. I think she jinxed my broom for a minute."

"Why would she jinx your broom? She's a teacher. That could've killed you!" Lucifer peered into the Forbidden Forest, taking a deep breath. "Alright, let's go in. We'll see what she was up to, and then get out of there. Got it?" He turned around. "And can you teach us that light charm? It seems like it's always dark in there."

"Oh, no swish or anything, just say 'Lumos'." Brooke said, causing several lighted wands to appear. "That's better. Anyways, tell me if you see anything; we have to figure out what she's up to. I don't suspect it's anything good..." He scentence dropped off ominously as well as her mood. Sure the teacher was sketchy, but would it really be easy to convince the others the same?

reggie gave teh two a skeptical glance and whispered softly, "Maybe we are wrong about her." His different eyes flashed everytime the glow of the wands hit them. Despite what he frineds were saying he was willing to give the teacher the benefit of the doubt. "Perhaps it was just bad timing and you arent as good of a flyer as you think you are Brooke." Reggie's voice sounded a bit dark with his last sentence. He glanced away with a sigh but followed behind Lucifer and Brooke just the same. Jayden and Taylor were behind him, trailing in the rear.

"I don't truthfully know how good I am at flying," she laughed in good spirits at her friend's comment, "but as far as I know, I have no reason to trust her." She ended her sentence coolly, almost daring anybody to change her opinion. She didn't mind what others thought at this point, but nobody was going to convince her the Professor was trustworthy. "Look!" She whispered, pointing ahead.

Reggie's sneered slightly at the girl's statement. He didnt quite trust the teacher but it wasnt far to assume she was out to get anyone. The boy turned his face to where Brooke was now pointing. Reggie's eyes widened to the point that they looked like saucers. A large mouded hill with ruins speckling the top of it sat against a few trees. An unnatural glow came from a small hole that looked like a door in the mound but disappeared faintly as if the source of the light had moved deeper in the hill. "Five bucks says thats where she went." Reggie sighed softly. Now he was getting the feeling that he really didnt want to be here. The thought that there were beats in these woods scared him. Reggie trembled slightly looked to his friends for a little reassurance.

Brooke smiled grimmly back at Reggie. She shivered a little, and not from the cold; suddenly wishing she was back in the Gryffindor common room, laying by the fire. "Let's go." She said, walking ahead of the others. Dispite her longing for warmth and comfort, her curiosity was too strong. She made her way through the small hole, ignoring the smell of death and decay. She almost gagged a little, but held herself strong and took steps with purpose.

Reggie grimaced but followed her non-the-less. He was gonig to be a loyal friend and make sure that Brooke had someone to watch her back. He slipped through the hole with a grunt. Brooke wasnt to far ahead but the small tunnel didnt allow any natural light, making it seem like he was all alone. "Brooke? Are you sure this is a good idea?" he whispered and broke the silence. The others crawled in to the hole after him as well. Reggie grasped the wand in his coat pocket just in case.
