Shep laughed, finally brushing his bangs back with his hand to get them out of his eyes. His hair flip hadn't worked. "You might know me. And I called you cat girl because I'm pretty sure your name is Kitty. Am I right?" He didn't wait for an answer. "I'm Shep Robinson. I slack off a ton and kinda get busted often. My average grade in all my classes is like, a C or something." He shrugged. "I don't really pay attention to school in general, so I don't really care what my grades are anyways."

"That's why I don't recognize you. The group of kids I know are all F-students, in the teachers' books." Kitty nodded to herself. "By the way, you should ditch the hair flip. Firstly, because it never works, and secondly, because it makes you look like a popular jerk." She said it simply, still walking to the History class. "Of course, if you started with an A in class, and waited until now, you might still be at a C." She shrugged. "And yeah, I'm Kitty. Who're you?" She looked up at him again. He was quite tall, taller than her for sure. She was average-sized, not too tall, not too short. Sometimes it irked her, because the only thing that left her to stand out in a crowd were the kitty ears on her hood.

"The only reason I've got all C's is because I only transfered about a month ago, and I haven't had time to fail all my tests." His eyes glinted with a sort of memory. "Oh and by the way, the only reason I do the 'hair flip' is to get it out of my eyes. It works, sometimes." He shrugged and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "I can leave, by the way, if I'm being an annoying jerk," he added honestly. "I get called a jerk a lot. Along with loser, freak,...and a few others that I'd rather not say out loud." He was hardly joking, but his eyes were sparkling slightly with laughter.

"Hah. And you think I don't? You think all of us underachievers don't? Look ahead. See those two pompous blond girls? Yeah. They love to torture the underachievers, simply because they have B's. They aren't even overachievers, just popular kids looking for attention." One of the two girls Kitty was talking about turned around, probably from a hunch that she was being talked about, and Kitty stuck her tongue out at her. She sniffed and turned around again. "Then, there's the overachievers, who just love to rub their grades in our faces. Over there." This time, she pointed to two girls and a boy, who all dressed with clothes not from the most popular stores, and the boy had glasses. "Those three snotty jerks are always in my face after history. You aren't the only one being called names." Kitty scrunched up her face.

"Uh..." Shep stuttered. This girl was...strange. She was a bit rude, and very blunt. He wasn't sure what to think of her, and he also wasn't sure whether or not he regretted coming up to talk to her. "Um...okay. Thanks for the...lecture." He awkwardly repositioned his backpack on his shoulder. "I...uhm." He looked away. Now his mind was blank; Kitty's monologue had weirded him out and disoriented his thoughts. "Hey, do you think I should ditch today?" he wondered out loud, not exactly expecting an answer, but wondering what she would say all the same.

OOC: Just moer stuff between Will and Kitty =D Lunch just ended and if you need someone to talk to Will is free at the moment =D

Will walked easily to his next class, typing. As he came closer and closer his heart felt more nervous. Now that Kitty was gone the old ways and habits he ahd crept back in. His bod began to shake softly and his eyes darted from one person to the next. Loud noises made him jump and fear clenched his mind.

"Oh...right." Kitty rolled her eyes and took a breath. You idiot! Will got your guard down! Now you're too used to saying everything on your mind! Get back on the underachiever track. Those who talk little and disappear into the shadows. She reprimanded herself. "You're an underachiever." She said it as a statement, a kind of conclusion to her thoughts. "Why should I know if you want to ditch or not? Do as you please." She reached into her pocket and pulled out her iPod, turning it on. "Just don't get caught."

"Yeah, I guess I am." Shep agreed with her statement. He then gave a small sigh. "I dunno...I guess I won't..." He glanced sideways at her briefly. "Um, I guess I'll...see you in class, then." He sped up, somewhat eager to be alone. He decided he'd go to class, but just be late. He made a detour towards the guys' bathroom and entered. It was empty, except for Shep. He leaned against the wall near the sinks with a sigh.

"Idiot!" Kitty whispered to herself as Shep veered away. "And another horrible disaster between Kitty and another student." She sighed. What if you didn't want to be his friend? Why should you? Aren't underachievers supposed to work alone? The little annoying voice in her head asked her. What if I'm not an underachiever? Kitty shot back. The voice quieted, letting her listen to her music.
