Robinpaw jumped out of the bushes and hopped on the vole, swiftly it. "Good job!" I said, beaming with pride. Robinpaw blushed. We brought the vole back to camp and shared it. Glidepelt, my former apprentice, came over to us and asked to hunt. "We just went. Sorry. Let's go tomorrow," I said. He nodded.

Todd screamed and I ran into the living room where he was. "What," I asked. "There's a monster movie on TV!!". "That's just Strawberry Shortcake,". "It's a monster horror movie!!". They grow up so fast, I thought. He was learning fast. He was smart. He could recite the days of the week and the months of the year in order.

Snickers jumped from her perch on the wardrobe and landed on my head. I reached for her and we tussled on the floor for a few minutes until she got hungry. I gave her cat chow and water. I stroked her as she ate. She purred and splayed her claws. "Good ," I said. She purred louder.
