"N-no," Riverpaw stammered. "I just, was curious. I followed you, because I was curious about where you were going, and if you were okay, and-and something else."
She lowered her head.
"I was wondering, if maybe you knew," she said, then whispered, "if Brokenpath left because of me?"

Wingpaw coughed once more then shook his head. "I course not!" he hissed.
Then he looked down at the ground with frown.
"I think it was my fault he left."

Brokenpath shifted in his spot when he heard voices outside barely being covered by the rain. He sneered slightly and stood again. He limped out of teh warren to see on the edge of teh small clearing around the base of the tree was Wingpaw and Riverpaw. Brokenpath narrowed his eyes and called out, "Are you both stupid? Get in out of the rain. This is your last warning Wingpaw. Next time you do something stupid i swear i am not helping you out." He turned in place flicking his white tipped tail iritably.

Wingpaw looked at him and hissed. "I don't need your help anyway...someone who tells lies about my father just because you hate me doesn't belong in dreamclan!"
Of course, wingpaw didn't mean any of that. He loved brokepAth as a deputy. Even if he was mean to wingpaw, he still wanted to try and be friends with him. Though, that would probably be very hard to do.
He sank his claws in the damp ground below him. "I sorry, brokenpath..." he murmured. "I didn't really mean any of that. It just....came out..."

Brokenpath just shook his head, "Save your breath you brat. Saying sorry doesnt cut it with me." He scoffed and dove deeper in to the den. If those two didnt come in now, he didnt care. He had given Wingpaw a fair warning about five times now. That is where he drew the line. If that dumb apptrentice didnt know enough to get out of the rain then he needed to learn. Brokenpath made his way back to the "leader's den" and laid dow. He gave a short sigh and closed his eyes.

Wingpaw coughed again the nodded to riverpaw. He flicked his tail for her to follow then he padded into the den. He looked around the strange place the walked deeper into it.
"this is really cool..." he whispered to riverpaw. He walked around more then coughed again. He was tired from searching for brokenpath. He finally laid down and closed his eyes with a sign.
"good night..." he said to riverpaw. He finally fell asleep.

Riverpaw followed. She curled up and layed down, but couldn't sleep. She had never seen her mentor talk like that, and wondered what had happened between wingpaw and brokenpath that made her former mentor so upset. She shuddered, and eventually fell asleep.

Thornleaf sighed and curled up in his nest. His tail tucked gentley around his body and touching his nose, he started thinking about today. So many injuries... Wingpaw's, Featherpaw's.... Thornleaf shook his head. Apprentices were uncareful, and it was his job to heal. "I shouldn't mind healing cats.." he mumbled to himself. "It's my job..." He closed his eyes and fell asleep soon after, from tiredness.

Wingpaw opened his eyes. It was still pouring down rain. He stood up and walked out of the den. He stared out past the trees and sighed. "where are you dad?..." he whispered to himself. He shook his head. "nah...mom probobly isn't telling the truth...he's probably dead right now." he began to walk away from the den. He looked down at the damp floor. He walked away untill he smelled a different clan. Though, he couldn't tell what clan it was since his nose was all stuffed up now. Hoping it would be dreamclan, he walked deeper into the clan. He felt something and he fell to the ground. He looked at what did that and it was a white tom with grey patches, hissing. Wingpaw stood up. He knew he wasn't in dreamclan.
