Brokenpath twitched in his sleep and when Riverpaw called out for her fellow apprentice, the back rom sighed. "Alright thats it." He made the awkward struggle to stand up and padded out of the leaders den. He glanced through the warren to see his apprentice searching for her friend. "Riverpaw," he said soothingly, unable to forget that he still liked his apprentice. "Calm down. I am sure that idiot only got himself lost." Brokenpath rolled his eyes giving a laugh. "I can take you back to Dreamclan if you want... unless..." he glanced away, "Unless you want to stay that is..."

Wingpaw looked around. He caught a faint scent of brokenpath and riverpaw, but he couldn't tell if he was close to them or not. He sniffed the air again and coughed. He saw a river and walked over to it. He looked at his reflection in it and then took a drink. He pulled away and walked alongside the river. He soon saw the rabbit den not to far away and smiled. He walked over to it and walked in. "hello?" he called. He heard no reply. He heard growling and saw a fox looking at him with angry eyes. He backed away slowly. "s-sorry..." he said shaking. "wrong den..." he slowly backed away as the fox walked closer to him. The fox pounced into the air and landed on wingpaw.

Ic: Thornleaf figeted in his sleep. "I don't know Spottedfur... I don't know Spottedfur..." he kept on saying over and over again, remembering his mentor. The beautiful spotted tortiseshell that trained him to become a medicine cat appeared in his mind. Wingpaw's mother... the cat who died of the two-legs... Thornleaf awoke with a sweat. The rain outside was pouring. Shivvering, he sighed and licked his pelt. The beautiful cat still stayed in his mind...

Wingpaw fell to the ground. He yowled, "Help!" Though, he didn't know how far he was from dreamclan or lionclan now. Wingpaw looked at the fox, his eyes feeled with fear. Wingpaw looked at the Entrence of the den, which began to get covored by mud. "No!" He yowled, trying to get up. The fox jumped up on the white apprentice and opened his teeth wide. the only thing there is to do....is fight! He thought. He took his claws out and tried to get out from under the fox. He got out and jumped up on the fox. The foxes teeth sank into his shoulder. Wingpaw fell to the floor again, half covered in blood this time. He jumped on the fox again.

Stay? Riverpaw thought. But she couldn't, what about Dreamclan! she reminded herself. Then she remembered, all Dreamclan really held for her was to be a warrior. She had never known her dream before, but now she knew it, it was to train, but now that she had no mentor there, what future did she have there? but if she could stay here, she could train, and be a part of this new Clan.
"Okay," Riverpaw said, "I'll stay, if you'll let me."

Wingpaw fell to the ground, panting. "Starclan! Save me!" He yowled. He stood up and looked at the entrance of the den. The rain covored it with mud! He ran over and tried to dig through. He couldn't get through it though. "Help!" He yowled again. He looked at the angry fox coming back towards him. His white pelt stained in red. I don't want to join starclan yet, mom... He thought. He looked away from the fox as it jumped up. It knocked him to the ground and wingpaw yowled. He couldn't fight anymore. He was to weak now. He closed his eyes. Wingpaw tried to get out from under it, but it was no use. he opened his eyes and looked up at the fox.

Suddenly Riverpaw heard a yowl. She turned to her mentor.
"I'll be right back," she said. She scampered out of Lionclan and followed the yowls.
"Wingpaw!" she yowled. She grabbed his scruff and pulled him out quickly. "Are you all right?"
