Wingpaw shivered and looked at northwind. Had he been following me? Wingpaw thought. He watched him fight the fox and he tried to stand up.
He gasped for air and got to his feet. He coughed blood onto the ground. Wingpaw fell back to the ground.
He closed his eyes. Don't let northwind die.... He thought. Opened his eyes and looked at Riverpaw. "Found you..." He whispered.

"Are you okay?" Riverpaw repeated. "I have to go back to LionClan."she looked up at Northwind.
"I have to go," she explained. "Get him back to Dreamclan safely, please." Riverpaw turned to leave.
"Goodbye, Dreamclan," she whispered to her friends, then ran back to Brokenpath.

Wingpaw's eyes went wide. "What! Your leaving!" He hissed. He stood up slowly. "Why? Didn't you like dreamclan!" Wingpaw gowled. He looked at Northwind. "You can't let her leave! You said all these good things about brokenpath, but they arn't true!" He looked back at riverpaw, anger filled hiss eyes.
"He's trying to take one of our own cats!"

Riverpaw turned around.
"I chose to go, Wingpaw!" she cried. "Dreamclan holds nothing for me but broken dreams! I just wanted to be a warrior, and now I have no mentor. I've been offered a chance at joining a brand new Clan, a fresh start for me, and becoming a strong warrior, how can I turn it down?"

Wingpaw hissed. "So our clan means nothing to you!" He looked away. "I thought you were different, Riverpaw." He meowed. He limped past her and limped away from all of them. He sat down, his body to sore to walk any longer. He sank his claws into the damp ground below him. Why does it have to be like this... He thought. I should have just let that fox kill me. Life in starclan will probably be alot better then this...

"Your Clan is great, I just dont think I'm meant to be in it," she hissed. She ran back to Lionclan, to Brokenpath.

Wingpaw didn't look as she left. He looked back at brokenpath. "Come on," He murmured. He began to limp back to dreamclan as the rain washed the blood of his pelt. He looked at the ground and sat down. "Sorry brokenpath...I can't move." He said. He looked up at the sky as the rain poured down on his face. "Go ahead and go back, brokenpath." He whispered. "I'll catch up."

IC: Riverpaw ran up to Brokenpath.
"sorry, I heard a yowl, and Wingpaw got into a fight with a fox, but Northwind saved him," she explained. "What do we do now? Should we look for more cats to join LionClan?"
Riverpaw was so excited. She couldn't believe it! She was the second cat to join this new Clan!

Brokenpath's heart filled with warmth at his faithful apprentice. "Yes, we need to look for more warriors. But we arent going to take them from other clans." He thought for a moment. "Perhaps we should look for rogues and loners. But only those who have the potential to be warriors. We shall not take in any renegades and rebels. ONly those who have high morals and respect the code." He nodded and grinned at Riverpaw, "Thank you for joining me."

Northwind stared at where Wingpaw had gone. The fox bucked making his grip loose. "Is it just me or did they forget about the fox?!" he hissed and lashed out at the beast. It reared and surged its paws forward. Northwind danced to the side and bit the paws. It roared and raced away. Northwind snorted at where it had been and laughed. "Well Brokenpath you sure made a mess out of this one."
