" What do you wan't, wingpaw ? " she sniffled. Her cheeks running in tears. She hiccuped and coughed a bit. " I thought.... I thought ..... he was diffrent but he wasn't. " She pressed against Wingpaw's neck and sobbed. " I love you... you know that don't you ? Your the best mate and friend a she-cat could have... but your my brother.. I can't belive that."

Wingpaw looked at her as she pressed against his neck. "I know that..." he said. Wingpaw thought for a moment as he watched her. Are we related? The thoughts filled his mind. If I'm really northwinds son, and she is really his Daughter then.... He closed his eyes and let out I small purr as he thought of her saying the words "I love you." he opened his eyes again and thought. Then...I can only love her like a sister...

Wingpaw watched her as she ran of and told him to catch her. Leave the clan?... He thought. We'd be leaving everything behind..becoming a warrior..family...friends. He turned his head to look at the direction toward the clan. Could he really do that? He looked back at featherpaw, his eyes wide. He stood up. Windpaw looked at the damp ground below him, then he got a sudden kit-like urge to chase. He smiled wide and began to chase featherpaw.

Featherpaw smiled and ran around. He caught her and she smiled. " My stomach hurts... " She closed her eyes and lsyed on her stomach. It had a bump. She whimpered and rubbed her paw against her stomach. She opened her eyes. She looked up at Wingpaw, she felt a pain in her stomach. " It hurts.. prease against it.. " She pulled his paw to her stomach. She looked up at him.

Wingpaw frowned and looked at the wound on her stomach. He bent down and gently licked it. "at least it's healing..." he whispered. He remebered before he went to chase after brokenpath. It looked horrible. He could tell it was healing now. He looked at her and gave her a small smile, trying to comfort her. "it'll heal soon," he said with a small purr.

" Yeah, I guess... " She mewed. " Let's go hunting... I could eat a fox, fur and all. " She said as she got up. She started to sniff the air. " I smell a bunch of cats.... that is really wierd. " Featherpaw looked at Wingpaw. " Do you wan't to just be friends, since we are kind of brother and sister? " She knew she was doing the right thing but she felt sort-of hollow inside.

Wingpaw looked at her. He wished they weren't brother and sister at all. His ears drooped down a little as he looked at her. He nodded softly. "yeah," he said. "you'll be a great sister." he smiled and smelled the air. She was right. The air did hold the scent of cat. A lot. He smelled the air again. "maybe about..." he tilted his head a little. "four or five of them.." he kept smelling the air.
