Wingpaw frowned. He thought he was a good friend with riverpaw but... She left. She chose to go with brokenpath just becuase he was her mentor. Wingpaw let out a hiss as he thought of brokenedpath. He smelled the air again and caught the scent of two more cats. A rouge and...a dreamclan cat! The tip of wingpaws fur stood. He began to follow the scent.

She was furious with the Dreamclan cat's! They just leave without saying why they are leaving. She was especially mad at Riverpaw, who she had thought was a good friend. Her fur wouldn't lie flat on her back. Riverpaw was Brokenpath's apprentice but she left and she was angry. She hissed and looked around. Wingpaw had dissapered. She wispered, " Wingpaw? "

Wingpaw looked around. The scent was strong, but not super strong. He looked around more. He tripped over something and fell into a thicket. She growled as thorns and branches poked him. He looked around for a way out. He began to walk more but got stopped by a thorn branch caught around his neck and body. He tried to get out but couldn't. The scent of blood filled his nose as the thorns dug into his skin.

She smelled blood. " Wingpaw? " she mewed warrily. She saw him being choked by a thorn bush. " Wingpaw!!!" she rushed to him. Her mother wouldn't want him to die like this. She was mad. " Wingpaw, breath"
She started to bite the thorn bush. Breath.. she mewed... breath. She bit threw the vine and dragged him out.

Wingpaw choked on the blood in his throat. He closed his eyes. He heard her telling him to breath. Wingpaws ears drooped down. His stomach didn't go up or down. He opened his eyes and saw featherpaws blurry figure. He blinked a few times then kept his eyes closed. He couldn't breath through the blood covoring the inside of his throat.

Thornleaf stopped suddenly, smelling blood. He sighed, and ran toward the scent. Gasping, he saw Wingpaw, and Featherpaw. "What happened now???" he asked. Looking around franticly, he tried to spot some cobwebs, but that part of the forest was unfamiliar. He quickly picked some leaves, and pushed it against Wingpaw's cuts. "Thorn bush?" he asked, with a glint of amusement in his eyes. He looked at Featherpaw and asked, "Could you go lick his wounds clean while I find cobwebs?"

Wingpaw opened his eyes as he heard thornleafs soothing voice. He coughed out blood and gasped for air. Wingpaw slowly pulled himself up and got to his feet. He stared at thronleaf for a moment. How did he know we were here? Was he following us? Wingpaw thought. He looked at thronleaf a bit longer then decided to say, "were you following us?"

Thornleaf shook his head. "I was trying to find Brokenpath, Riverpaw, and Flazerun, when I smelled blood." he explained. "I ran to you guys, and found you covered with blood." He licked Wingpaw's dirty pelt, and said, smiling, "You guys wanna go on a quest with me to find the runaway cats?" he asked, jokingly. Without waiting for a reply, he walked toward the faint scent of Brokenpath. Looking at the apprentices, he added, "Wingpaw, your wounds are treated, and cleaned. They'll do, but I need to add some yarrow.. or more when we get back to camp. If you wanna come, you're welcome." He turned around, and padded away.

Wingpaw looked at featherpaw and then back at thornleaf. "of course I want to!" he chased after thornleaf. Once he got to thronleafs side he said "you were looking for them too?" he lifted his head and smelled the air. "me and featherpaw were just hunting a little and we caught the scent of the cats. Feathertail reliezed it was brokenpath, riverpaw, flazerun, and a rouge. I started to follow the scent and tripped over something and landed into that thicket." he looked at the medicine cat.
