Brokenpath pondered on this for a moment. He would surely train Riverpaw and Flazerun could take care of Wingpaw. But what of Featherpaw? Brokenpath sighed. A thought hit him. Flazerun could train Scratch and Brokenpath could train Featherpaw. The former rogue needed to learn the ways of a clan and this would help him. They would both have two apprentices for now. "Flazerun!" Brokenpath called out in the warren. "Meet me outside. We are leaving now" The former Dreamclan deputy limped out of teh warren and in to the clearing that would be used for sharing tongues.

Flazerun nodded to Thornleaf and padded to Brokenpath at a startlingly quick pace. "Right," she mewed, nodding. Her eyes laid on the loner that was named Scratch, but then she shook it from his mind. But it just kept resurfacing, and coming back again and again. "Where will the loner stay?" mused Flazerun, eyes curious. Her tail calmly swished back and forth as she started towards Moonpool, slowing as she noticed Brokenpath hadn't started yet. "As a warrior, I can see he has not been trained in the ways of a warrior... So shall he stay with the apprentices, or with me in the warrior's den?"

Brokenpath shot her a glance as they made their way toward the Moonpool. "He shall sleep in the warriors den. Just because he is being trained doesnt mean that we shall treat him like a kit." Brokenpath flicked his tail side to side. The two traveled quite a distance in silence. The Lionclan leader stopped every once in a while so he could catch his breath. Flazerun had stopped with him as well, making sure he was alright. After a while they both came upon a large cavern. Deep within lay the Moonpool. "Once I go in, i probably wont be coming back out for a while. Can you take things out here? Or would you like to come with me?"

"... I shall stay out here. I wouldn't want to bother you and StarClan," she joked. Though her tone was fun-loving and care-free, there was a serious, hard look in her eyes, though it was small, you knew it was there. She sat beside the entrance and lay herself upon her stomach, her ears flickering, telling Brokenpath it was okay. "It's not like I'm going to be murdered, Brokenpath," she laughed, closing her eyes in the process. Her tail flickered side to side lazily as she looked up at the sky.

Brokenpath gave her a warm smile before he disappeared in to the cave. He had been here once before, but he had never gone inside. His heart raced in his chest as the cave narrowed for a long time. Still he limped onward. After a little while the cavern opened up with a small opening in the roof to let moonlight wash the pool in an ghostly glow. Brokenpath stepped forward and lapped up some drops from the pool. Instantly cold over took him and he felt like he was floating. What was this place he was in? Mist surrounded him, and in that mist, thousands of glowing as stared at him. Some looked angry while others seemed proud. Was this Starclan?

OoC :: If it's okay, I'm going to make another clan come and ask Flazerun questions... I guess I'll call them HopeClan? Hahaha. My imagination fails me at the most important time. If there is something wrong with that, just tell me and I'll change it.

IC ::

Flazerun's silver eyes looked up at the sudden shadow that loomed before her. "Hello," she mewed calmly, looking up at the tortise-shell she-cat. "I am Flazerun. You might be?" she asked, standing up slowly and moving to shield the entrance. "I am Harestar. Leader of HopeClan. What is a DreamClan cat doing here?" asked the she-cat. "I am a LionClan cat. And what I am doing is none of your concern," Flazerun spat, turning away. "Actually it is. I am the new leader," hissed the she-cat. Flazerun's eyes were curious. "What happened to Juniperstar, may I ask?" she said, smiling.
Harestar turned away and nodded no and said, "I will only answer if you tell me why you are here. And how come I have never heard of LionClan?" "Ah, ah ah. One question for one. Which one would you prefer me to answer?" asked Flazerun, not moving from her spot. Rather, she sat down, and after a few seconds laid down once again. "Tell us why you are here," spoke a large tom. Obviously the new Deputy of HopeClan. "I am here because my Leader, Brokenstar, is speaking to StarClan, if you don't mind," hissed Flazerun, eyes narrowed.
"Pray tell, you mean Brokenpath, the Deupty of DreamClan?" murmured the large tom. "Kindleclaw, shush. How come you two have betrayed you clan and formed a new Clan?" asked Harestar. Now Flazerun finally remembered Harestar. She was formerly Hareskip, the Deputy of HopeClan. "Nope. You are to answer my question now. What happened to Juniperstar?"
"Foxes," murmured Kindleclaw. Flazestar nodded and contemplated the other clan's situation. "Come another day, Hareskip. You will actually be able to speak to StarClan," spoke Flazerun in a solid, courageous voice. "I beg of you." The truth was, Flazerun knew the hope in the hearts of HopeClan cats would falter, and they might be able to rally cats from there.
"All right, Flazerun, warrior of LionClan. I take your word," hissed Harestar, turning and bounding back to her Clan's territory. "So much is happening," whispered Flazerun.

Brokenpath stared at the eyes of the Starclan warriors as the mist disappeared. Something was wrong, none of them were stepping forward to greet him. Was he supposed to talk first. Yet as he opened his mouth to talk, a large light brown tabby she cat with bright amber eyes stepped forward. Brokenpath's heart constricted. It was Fawnpelt, his old mentor. Brokenpath felt a warm grin spread on his face.
"Brokenpath," she started, "Why have you come here today?"
"I have started a new clan in the name of the warrior code. Dreamclan has fallen from what has once been. The cats of Dreamclan have shown that they are foolish and cannot respect the code. I have started Lionclan in the hopes of restoring the respect for the code." Brokenpath's dark amber eyes glowed with pride in his new clan. Yet he recieved hisses and growls of suprise. Fawnpelt flicked her tail to silence them.
"Why? There are already three clans in the forest. There is no need for a forth." She gave him a harsh glare.
"I have told you my reasons. The clans you have formed dont care for the code anymore." Brokenpath's voice rang a little louder. More hisses and growls rose from the ranks of Starclan.
"We cannot allow this Brokenpath. Lionclan is not a true clan in the eyes of Starclan." She turned from him and the members of Starclan did so as well. Yet oddly enough only half the cats did so. Fawnpelt gave the warriors a harsh stare. "Do you agree with this traitor?"
Another cat stepped out from the ranks of the warriors. His blazing ginger pelt and white paws gave him a flame colored look.
"Fawnpelt, he speaks the truth. You have seen it havent you? OUr clans, the ones we knew are lazy now. Look at how the apprentices treat their mentors. There is no honor or respect amongst them." He said tactfully.
"Runningstep, we cant allow for such rebellion. Apprentices have always been that way. Our clans have shown that we respect the code." With that she turned again and loped away. Hlaf of the Starclan warriors went with her. Silence overtook the clearing before Runningstep turned to Brokenpath.
"We warriors of Starclan beleive that you are doing this for the sake of the code and those you love. We know that you want what is best for your warriors and we respect you for your choice. I Runningpath give you a life for leadership, use it to guide you clan through the dark times." He touched the Lionclan leader's nose. Pain shot through his body but subsided soon. This continued with seven more cats by the names of Dawnheart, Morningsun, Lorypelt, Snakescale, Rabbitfoot, Sparrowpelt, and Bluestripe. The eight cats that had given him his lives stepped back as the last cat stepped forward. Her large blue eyes pierced Brokenpath's very soul. Her white pelt glowed brightly as well.
"I Dreamstar, now give you Brokepath your new name. You have started Lionclan in the hopes that the code is preserved. You have left eh clan that i started but only for their benifit. Brokenpath, you have been honored with the mane of a cat from ancient clans. You have named your clan in there honor and now we give a name that shall honor them further. Brokenpath you shall be now known as Lionstar."
The newly named Lionstar gasped in suprise as the warriors of Starclan cheered his name. His amber eye glowed with pride and joy. Dreamstar stepped forward and touched his nose with hers giving him his last life. As soon as the pain subsided the world went black. He was back at the Moonpool and oddly enough, his leg didnt hurt. He jumped up in surprise and raced out of the cave.
He burst from teh cavern opening nearly running Flazerun over. He stopped a small distance from her and immediatly looked at his leg. The scars from teh tradegy were still there but the bone had been mended. The leg sat right where it was supposed to be. Tears of joy filled his eyes. He dream of being able to run like the wind again had come true. He glanced up at Flazerun with pure joy in his eyes. "The acepted me! We are now Lionclan!" Lionstar couldnt contain his happiness. "I am now Lionstar, in honor of our clan." He laughed.

Flazerun smiled and jumped next to Lionstar. "Yes!" she mewed happily, jumping around. Then she paused and looked at Lionstar with a gentle smile. And she mouthed, "You can run." She nudged him happily and bounced around like a kit again. "Dreams can come true, Lionstar!" she purred proudly and happily. she yowled in happiness, sure Harestar could hear it. "LionClan shall flourish and live with the protective eyes of StarClan watching over us,a nd the honor of the Warrior Code!" Flazerun let out anotehr yowl of happiness, unable to supress it.

Lionstar laughed and butted Flazerun's shoulder playfully. He felt better than he had in a long time. His amber eyes were wide with his playfullness. "Come on then! I will race you back to camp. We have to get there before Moonhigh and name the next deputy." His thin tail flicked back and forth making the white tuft of hair on the end of his tail wave softly against the air. He shook his head making his mane shimmer.

"You're on, Lion!" she meowed challengingly, all reayd bounding off towards the direction of camp, her bell-like laugh echoing as she raced Lionstar back to camp. Her tail lashed behind her as she jumped over nothing, and almost crashed into rocks and such. She giggled and almost tripped over things as she skidded to a stop, almost crashing into a tree. "Ack!" she cried out, carrowly missing the tree, leaving time for Lionstar to catch up and pass her.
