Warrior Cats: The Four Clans

Ebonystar trotted out of her den early in the cold Windclan morning. She breathed deeply and tossed a glance around to see if she could spot any waking warriors. Not to far away Tabbystripe padded out of camp followed by her young apprentice Snowpaw. Ebonystar chuckled lightly and padded further in to camp. Her ice blue eyes caught sight of her former apprentice sitting by the fresh-kill pile with her current apprentice. Both of their eyes were sparkling with mischief as they told each other stories of their training sessions.

Ebonystar grinned and purred, "Well, arent you two getting along just fine. Florestapaw, its time that we go training now." Booberrys pale eyes lit with laughter as he flicked Florestapaw on the nose with the tip of his tail.

"Good luck with that." He laughed loudly and loped away to join a border patrol. Ebonystar gave a sarcastic grin before she turned back to Florestapaw and laughed, "Come on then." The two left camp and made it to the large open training area. "Alright, today we shall learn the dodge and shoulder push." Ebonystars curt voice resonated smartly around them.

Florestapaws mouth quirked up with a playful smile, "Bring it on then!" She piped in. Ebonystar laughed loudly and charged. Florestapaw got ready, her small black body bunched up and her brilliant green eyes were wide and on alert. Yet despite all of her attention she didnt dodge Ebonystar in time and was knocked to the ground.

"Alright little Resta, you need to keep sharp. Here attack me now." Ebonystar flicked her tail to signal she was ready. Florestapaw picked herself up off the floor and charged. When she was just a whisker length away, Ebonystar dodged away and then charged back in with her shoulder. Florestapaw was sent sprawled to the ground and the wind was knocked out of her. "See?" Ebonystar chuckled.

Florestapaw got back up again and laughed slightly, "Yeah, I think I got it. That and a few bruises," She purred cheekily.

Ebonystar rolled her eyes and laughed, "Again!"

The sun had almost gone down by the time Booberry made his way to the training area. He saw both his leader and her newest apprentice panting on the ground but with satisfied grins on the faces. "Well dont Resta," Ebonystar purred. Her ice blue eyes turned to Booberry with affection. "Just like when you were an apprentice."

Booberry lifted his brown slightly and laughed back, "Not quite, if it were me I would be flat on the ground panting and you would be laughing not to far away."

Ebonystar shook her head softly and laughed a bit more. "Well done Resta, you are almost ready to be a warrior." Florestapaws eyes lit up like stars and she raced in circles with excitement.

A short laugh came from Booberry as he added in, "Never mind, its just like when I was an apprentice."
