Winterstorm's heart broek when she saw the sad shape her friend was in. She was at his side in an instant and running her tail along his flank to sooth him. "Yes its me Fireleaf. Are you alright? Do you need anything?" Her questions pelted the tom and she knew she had to hold her tongue. With a sigh she settled down next to him. She felt that his body was colder than normal. "I will stay here to keep you warm." She purred in to his ear.

Fireleaf gave a small smile and a soft purr came up from his throat. He folded his ears back and began to feel very relaxed knowing that winterstorm was there with him. He closed his eyes and purred once more. "thank you....winterstorm....for everything...." he meowed quitly. He flicked his tail back and forth a little bit.

Mudwhisker walked into the den to see Winterstorm with Fireleaf. Breezepaw had gone and he had given Fireleaf some medicine. "Hello Winterstorm. Could'nt sleep? I just came to check on Fireleaf, but I see you've already done it. Thank you." Looking at the two cats Mudwhisker turned to the entrance of the den. "Ill be off gathering herbs, come to me if he gets worse ok?" Mudwhisker smiled and walked out of the den.

Winterstorm opened her mouth to speak but as the medicine cat left the den she felt her words die in her throat. She made a small frown and nodded to herself since he had left. "Dont worry about it," Winterstorm purred to Fireleaf. She gently rested her head on her paws and purred a little more. She felt Firesleaf's body relax and warm against hers. At least she was making herself useful.

Fireleafs head rested on the dirt covored ground. The scent of herbs and many other things feeled his nose. He had never smelled these scents very much exept when he goes to visit for a sick cat or something. His stomach felt like it was melting with the poisoned bird on it. He moaned softly.

Breezepaw stepped out into the night. The rain had let up and he couldnt sleep for some reason. He watched at the entrance of the apprentice den as Mudwhisker walked past him. "Hey Mudwhisker. Whatcha doing out this late?" The medicine cat's whiskers twitched before he turned around his voice stuttering."I-Im just going out to get herbs. Ill be back soon." Breezepaw looked at him over than shrugged "Ok. See ya!" He watched as Mudwhisker left stopping only to nod at Gophertail who was on guard duty. Getting up Breezepaw looked at the sky it was still dark out. He shook his head and reliezed what Mudwhisker had said. "Wait. He's getting HERBS at this time?" Thinking something was up Breezepaw walked over to the entrance and nodded to Gophertail "Uh-Im suppose to go with Mudwhisker I told him to wait, but he just couldnt." The warrior nodded and Breezepaw left the camp following Mudwhiskers scent.

Breezepaw followed the tabby's scent staying alert just in case Mudwhisker wanted to come back. He followed the scent through the moore heading towards the moonstone. "Hmmm maybe Mudwhisker just wanted to go to the moonstone, but why did'nt he just say that in the first place?" Breezepaw picked up his pace as the scent grew fresher. A rustle in the bushes made him stop in his tracks. His heart thumped so loud he thought the whole forest could hear it. When the rustling stopped he moved closer. The scent trail had stopped and Mudwhisker was no where in sight. Breezepaw stepped closer to smell the ground as he sniffed it a voice startled him and made him jump. "Breezepaw what are you doing out here?"

Breezepaw looked behind him. Mudwhisker was sitting on a branch his eyes looked cold and serious. Breezepaw shook as he spoke to the impatient cat "Uh- I was...looking for...you! Yea! I was looking for you. I could'nt sleep so I went to your den and you were'nt there." Mudwhisker looked at the apprentice hard, then turned around. "Is that all?"
"Yes..." Breezepaw bowed his head a felt his fur lie flat on his back. He hadnt noticied it had started to bristle in the first place. "Ummmm are you going to camp now?" Mudwhisker turned sharply then his expression changed in an instant. "Yes. Come on Ill give you some Poppy seeds and then you can rest." He turned around and started walking toward Windclan camp. Breezepaw folowed, his paws hurt from trying to catch up with the older cat, and his heart felt like it was going to burst. The two cats went into Windclan camp and into the Medicine cats den. Mudwhisker walked by Winterstorm and Fireleaf without nodding a hello. Breezepaw sat down at the edge of the den and shook himself then looked at Winterstorm. "Uh- Hi....is Fireleaf doing ok?"

ooc:yea. sorry bout that. i was on my psp and it only lets you write a certain number of letters. like it stops after the box is full. its hard to understand. but ill fix it now.

Fireleaf opened his eyes a bit to see the young apprentice sitting in the den. His eyes opened a little more and he gave a warm smile. He weakly lifted his head from the den ground. "hello breezepaw...." he purred softly. "I'm doing....better...." truthfully he felt horrible but he wasn't going to worry the young apprentice. He laid his head back down.
