Breezepaw's ears flew up as he heard Oakstar's voice. He jolted up and yowled. "Oakstar! Hurry Im over here!" He looked at Fireleaf again and wondered if he was going to make it. Breezepaw jumped up in the same spot and looked over the fire. He saw the leaders pelt and wondered if he saw him.

"Breezepaw! Hold on!" He called. He stared at the fire as it grew bigger and bigger. Please starclan, please save us from this fire.... Oakstar quickly ran. He hit his back paw against the burnt ground and sprang into the air. He hit the ground next to the cage and looked at breezepaw. "Are you okay?" He turned his head and looked at the cage. He saw what was in it. "F-Fireleaf?"

Breezepaw stared at his leader for a moment. He didnt realize how tall he was compared to him. In a few moons or less he would be as big as the Windclan leader. Shaking his head he forgot about the fire. "Yes Im ok Oakstar Im ok, but Fireleaf isnt doing to good. I dont know how to get him out of the cage, and the fires getting closer." Breezepaw looked to his leader for instructions.

Oakstar stared at the young apprentice for a moment than looked back at the cage. His eyes scanned it as he thought of something to do. "All right, see that lock on the side. There is a door but we cant open it unless we brake the lock." Oakstar looked at the apprentice once more. "Look for a stick or something while i try to bite it off."

Winterstorm had stayed in camp though she had wanted to race away by his side. She made sure all the kits were out of the nursery. NOw it was time to rally the troops. "All Windclan cats in range of my voice come to me!" Many cats that were still helping others picked their way toward her. She lifted her tail to show the way. "Follow me!" She called out. None of the cats wanted to object, they all were glad to have someone to tell them what to do. The deputy led the frightened cats away from the camp and every now and again they would me up with groups of Windclan cats that had fled before. The group of apprentices with the elders came in to view and they joined the main group. THe cats of Windclan organized in to two single file lines as they fled the burning territory. The group made it to the edge of Windclan, Near where the Moonstone was. Winterstorm finally called out, "Alright everyone. We will rest here for now. The fire will spread soon so we cant stay here for long. If Oakstar doesnt come back soon we will have to leave." Now that she had called out the command she would do a head count. Hopefully everyone was here.

Breezepaw nodded and looked around the inside of the fire. Most of the sticks were burnt and the ones that werent were to far to reach. Looking around some more he saw a small rock, but it wouldnt be able to open it then he thought of the monster. "HOld on. I have an idea!" Jumping on the monster breezepaw landed on a soft bed. He walked around and climbed to the top of the monster. Looking around he saw a tree branch hanging just in reach. Perfect! Theres a stick and we can get out this way! Breezepaw ran to the branch and snapped off a stick, jumping back down to Oakstar he handed him the stick. "What now?"

Oakstar took the stick. "Now just watch and learn." The old leader said. He bent down and stuck the stick in the key hole of the lock. He moved it around quickly untill he heard a click sound. He pulled the stick away and the lock fell. The door opened and oakstar nudged fireleaf. "Wake up," He said softly but fireleaf didn't do anything. Oakstar gently picked up fireleaf on his back and looked at breezepaw. "Lets go,"

Breezepaws heart thumped. Now that they got Fireleaf out they could escape but looking aroung the fire had gotten to high to jump. "Oakstar! Follow me!" Breezepaw ran to the monster and watched as Oakstar followed. He jumped up on the monster and waited for Oakstar.

Winterstorm watched the fire on the horizon. Many cats were growing restless. They had waited long enough. Winterstorm turned to the cats of Windclan and called out, "Lets move!" The cats gave nods and replies as they moved out. Winterstorm angled their path through the hills that led past the moonstone. They had to find a place and more than likely it had to be far away. She frowned deeply at the thought of Oakstar not coming back. IF it came to that she would have to lead. She did not want to do that yet. Yet here she was leading Windclan in their time of need. Her thoughts were torn.
