Oakstar looked at mudwhisker. He gave a soft nod. "Yes, but we dont have much time to stay here. The fire could spread. Please help fireleaf as best as you can for now." Oakstar turned to the direction he heard winterstorm. The leader ran up to her. "winterstorm, thank you." He purred.

OCC: sure whisperpaw! You can join =D! Right now windclan just left their territory because it caught on fiire. Now Mudwhisker is trying to help fireleaf because he was injured from the fire because he was caught by twolegs and out in a cage so the fire burnt him and he already ate a poisoned prey so hes not doing to well.

Whisperpaw twitched her trodden-down tail in anxiety. The fire cracked in the distance, bringing the acidic smell of smoke into her nose and lungs. The fire was under control for now, but might catch nearby trees to flame. No cat was relaxed. Whisperpaw exhaled.

"I wish I could stop this fire." she mumbled to herself bitterly.

Mudwhisker gave fireleaf a couple of herbs and sat down next to the unlucky cat. "Ok Fireleaf now this time can you stay here and rest? You hurt yourself bad and I dont want you up untill I say so." Flicking his tail the medicine cat watched the firey cat with stern eyes.

Breezepaw stopped walking a minute with Rabbitpaw as he saw Whisperpaw another apprentice exaling alone. He walked up to her and tilted his head. "Are you ok Whisperpaw?'

Whisperpaw smiled good naturedly at the friendly cat. "Fine, I guess." she shrugged. "I just wish I could do something more than watch the fire burn the forest and run away from it."

Breezepaw stared at the forest the smoke was getting higher into the sky. "Yea...me too....." Looking at the she-cat again he smiled. "But its alright. Everythings going to be fine." He wished he could tell himself that too. Sitting down next to Whisperpaw and Rabbitpaw he watched the smoke fill the sky. The dark clouds above looked like rain clouds but he still wasnt sure if it was the smoke or not.

Whisperpaw smiled back, taking comfort from Breezepaw's kind reassurance. Red hot flames licked up over the canopy of branches surrounding the area, causing Whisperpaw to draw back in startled surprise. She shook her long brown pelt, trying to clear her head, and began to talk. "I hope no other cats get injured. Oakstar and Mudwhisker have enough to worry about as it is."

"I know...if any other cats do get hurt it'll ba hard to keep the clan together." Breezepaw moved his paw and felt the pain from the burn he got when he was with Oakstar and Fireleaf. Biting on his teeth he held in the pain and looked over at the forest again. "I wonder if the fire will make it to the other clans' territories?"
