Winterstar gave a few moments thought before she decided what they should do. "Well, we have been here for the night and its about time we stared to move on. We have to find our home." She nodded softly. "While the elders finish burying Oakstar lets have a few apprentices and warriors hunt. After that we shall move. The rest of the clan should focus on getting everything in order and ready for us to leave." She flicked her tail to Fireleaf letting him know that it was his turn now to decide who would go on the patrols.

Rabbitpaw glanced side ways at Breezepaw, "Well... if we wander off on our own then wouldnt the rest of the clan worry? I think we should go ask Fireleaf or Winterstar to see if we can go hunting. Otherwise we should probably help the elders and queens get ready to go." With that she nodded with a smile and flicked the tom on the ears. "Lets go, M'kay?"

Fireleaf looked at winterstorm and nodded. This was a little weird for him, but he'd get used to it. He looked at some of the warriors and apprentices. "Grayflight, Forestleaf, Breezepaw, and Rabbitpaw." He said to all four cats. He flicked his tail at them and nodded. "Come'n. We dont have all day." Fireleaf smirked and looked at breezepaw and rabbitpaw. He reliezed that they were to be warriors soon.

Hawkshadow nodded and turned torwards the rest of the clan to make sure that evreybody was in good shape to leave to find their new home. She walked over to the qeens and checked them they seemed to be in good condition. She checked the elders they were in good condition except for a few fleas that she got from their pelts. She looked over at the warriors she checked them over and they all seemed fine. She sat down after she had checked all of the cats she wasen't sure what else to do now that she had checked evreyone.

Breezepaw turned and looked at Fireleaf. Tilting his head he reliezed Fireleaf was deputy now. Nodding to the new deputy he walked to the warriors and flicked his tail to Rabbitpaw. "Alright Im ready!" he yowled and moved his paws unpatiently for the warriors and Rabbitpaw.

Rabbitpaw nodded soflty and followed after the warriors to go hunting.

Winterstar watched the small patrol leave and turned to Fireleaf, "Go ahead and check on teh warriors. I am sure they need some help." She smiled and turned away. After a moment of searching she found Hawkshadow. A smile crossed her face, "Hawkshadow," she called out, "I need to speak with you for a moment."

Walking with the small patrol Breezepaw felt like running as he looked ahead. Turning to Rabbitpaw he flexed his claws. "See ya!" Turning he darted past the wariiors up ahead who seemed to jump alittle as he just passed inches from them. Feeling the wind cool his pelt he smiled and started to go in a trot as he got closer to taller grass.

Fireleaf looked at winerstar as she went to talk to hawkshadow. He smiled a bit and than nodded. He followed the patrol and caught up with them. He smiled when he saw breezepaw run ahead. He looked at rabbitpaw and then the other cats. He smelled the air. He had always had a more stronger nose then the others. He flicked his tail. "there are some mice a few fox lengths away." he whispered. "about five or seven of them.

Breezepaw stopped suddenly as a strong scent of mouse hit his mouth out of nowhere. Looking around he flicked his ears as he heard Fireleaf and at that moment a small mouse scurried past him with a seed in its mouth. leaping on it quitley he quickley killed it with his claw and stood up with the mouse in his jaw. Dropping he licked his lips as he picked up a few more scents.

Hawkshadow lifted her head when she heared Winterstar call her name. She got up and padded over to her new leader. She waited for Winterstar to say something to her "Yes?" Hawkshadow asked. She wondered what it was about. Was there something troubling her? she wondered. She watched the hunting patrol leave. She looked at the rest of the warriors they seemed to be all fit for the trip to their new home.
