well if you have to decide between third and first, there are pros and cons for each.
for first person, you only get THAT person's thoughts and point of view.
for third person... well theres two types. one where its third person but you mainly focus on one person, then theres third person where you focus on everyone and thing.
just think about that. ;D

okay, then. unfortunately loving an idiot who doesn't love me back. but i'm not falling. i just kind of... am. .
Anyways, I'm working on a couple projects right now and I just started a new one while I put some more thought into my main project. Not sure if I'm going to conintue this, but here's what I have written so far. Hope you guys enjoy it. +)
A gust of wind blew over the empty field of grass, the tall green blades whipping about wildly. A wave of water crashed onto the cliff. A giant knelt on the edge of the cliff, their emerald body shining as the rays from the setting sun reflected off the metal. Their elongated snout pointed towards the sinking sun, as if they were enjoying the view, but there was no life in their eyes. Though they appeared unharmed, something was damaged deep within the great mechanical beast. Something had been forcibly ripped out of the titan and now it could not function.
Another wave slammed into the rock face and the sun had almost completely disappeared beyond the horizon now. The metal beast had been sitting on this cliff for a week now and it would continue to watch the sun set until what had been stolen from it could be returned, if it is ever returned.
It needs some editing which it will get in due time. There are some things that I'm purposefully leaving out right now, like the full description of the "monster". Now back to work for me.
Darkness. It is all I know... All I am. But even though I am surrounded by these endless shadows, there has always been a light that ties me to the other world. A world where hope and happiness coexist with fear and sadness.
Then, the source of this light, my anchor, vanished. It had been snuffed out by noneother than he who would become our next master. Knowing that he was responsible for our loss, we abandoned him. Unfortunately, we need an anchor. We cannot afford to be lost forever. Our first master worked so hard to bring us to this world. The humans needed us to bring peace back to their world. Our first master had hoped that he could use us to unite demons and humans. Teach them to coexist peacefully with one another. But yet, no one would listen to him. We have been passed down from one master to their son, always serving the same family. Always attempting bring the two together. But, with each new master, we drifted farther from our original goal. Hatred and thoughts of revenge followed us from one master to the next... Until now.
Knowing we had limited time to find a new light, I sought out the strongest, brightest soul I could find. One that had yet to be corrupted. But perhaps I had been too rash. This soul was far from our previous anchor and most likely knew little to nothing about us. And now, already bonded to their heart, I worry I have chosen wrong. They... No.... She... Odd, I did not know females were capable of bonding with us. We were always told they must be male. But here I was, hovering over her as she slept. She was completely unaware of what we... no, I had dragged her into. I felt sorry... Terrible for what I had done. Though her soul was bright and strong, her build was so small and weak. Her arms were thin. Each breath she took was so silent, I thought she may not be breathing at all. Her long, dark reddish hair covered her face, making it difficult to see who she was.
It was a strange feeling to be bonded to one whom I know nothing about. I couldn't stand not even knowing what she looked like, so I reached forward to brush the hair from her face. As I moved, the chains that wound around my arm rattled. The girl twitched at the sound. She rolled over, her eyes open and gazing at my cloaked face. Those piercing green eyes slowly moved down my outstretched arm to my open palm which hovered now a few inches from her face. I could see the panic now worming its way into those bright eyes that reflected the soul which had brought me here in the first place. The high pitched shriek that followed was inevitable. Having spent so much time working alongside humans, I knew it would be impossible to explain our existence to her know. So I vanished back into the into the unknown, back into the darkness from whence I came.
