Jake swallowed & looked down at his chest, he frowned. He heard Anna wince at his scars & put his hand on them trying to cover them up. He grimaced at the pain in his chest & kept his hand on his scars. The leader sat down & watched everyone, he was thinking about something. He kept glancing at Jake like he had something planned.

Anna Grace moved her hand from his nose and moved his hand away from his chest to look at them. She traced the scars with her fingers lightly. She looked up at him with a sad expresion. She was sad for him and she hadn't winced because they where ugly or something she winced because they looked painful. "Jake..."she trailed off. She wanted to give him a hug but didn't know if it would hurt him of if he even wanted it.

Jake looked up at Anna, he had tears in his eyes that were ready to fall. He sensed that she wanted to hug him & he slowly nodded, trying to tell her that she could hug him if she wanted to. He leaned towards her slightly & looked down, he waited to see if she did wanted to hug him or if he had misunderstood.

Anna Grace let his hand go and leaned into him putting her head on his chest. She put one arm around him and then took his arm and drapped it across her stomache. She played with his fingers gently and then took a deep breath. She looked up at him and said "Hey Jake"she whispered it for his ears only. "Can I try something?"she asked

Jake swallowed nervously, Anna had never gotten this close to him before. He felt himself blush, he bit his lip & smiled abit. He liked her being close to him, he felt warmer & more relaxed with her close by. He heard her ask him a question & he nodded quietly. He waited to see what she was going to do & he watched her.

Anna Grace took another deep breath and then shifted slightly to see him better then gently put her lips to his. She pulled away and blushed looking up at him so she could read his expression. 'Please don't be mad please don't be mad please don't be mad'she repeated in her head

IC: Jake's eyes were wide & his mouth was partially open, he stared at Anna. He felt his heart had sped up, his cheeks were a deep red color. His mind was still trying to register what had just happened. "I-I....um......" he stuttered unable to get his mouth to work properly, he swallowed. He slowly licked his lips.

Anna Grace looked down "I'm sorry"she whispered "I'll just go"she said biting her lip. She let his hand go and started to take her arm from around him. She started to get up and leave but she did this slowly incase he wanted to stop her. 'I'm so stupid'she said to herself 'What was I thinking?'she felt tears swell in her eyes.

Jake struggled to get his mouth to work, "Uh, don't go." He said hoping Anna would stop, he had liked the kiss. He was just shocked by it, he had never been kissed by a girl before not even one of his foster moms. He looked at her & waited to see if she would come back, "You are so stupid!' he yelled in his mind to himself.

Anna Grace looked at him hope flared in her eyes and she moved back to him. She put her arm back around him hesitantly and leaned into him again "I'm sorry"she whispered again looking down at Jake's hand. She had started playing with his fingers again softly. "S shouldn't have kissed you if you didn't want me to..."she continued rambling. She only did this when she was really embarrassed or really nervous and right now she was both.
