Deyna stepped outside and continued to follow the other new Corrupted soldiers. The group kept walking until they found a large battle scarred Bezerker. The Bezerker pointed to the large ship behind him. "You'll be leaving on this in a week. When the King awakens, massive earthquakes and other disasters wil happen. We'll return after their over." THere were angered cries from the humans, but the Bezerker ignored them. "Looks like we'll be going on vacation sometime soon." Gruel said.
"I just find it slightly amazing," Seaun paused for a moment to look disapprovingly around, "That this truth has been accepted so easily." Cei opened his mouth, as if to comment, then sighed, and closed it. "You better choose soon, Naito." Cei remarked, and sat down. "I can't." "You must." "But I /can't./" "It's your job as a human to choose, and our jobs, as demons, to follow." "..."
ooc.
Hey Wolf. XD And maybe not. Perhaps someone will burst in and produce half a page of profile notes. :3
IC: East followed quietly behind the rest of the group, two of his Demons - Arcane, a tall Mirror Knight, and Kovian, a quiet Assassin - walking on either side of him. He cast a nervous look in Arcane's direction, waiting for the being to say something. The Knight noticed. Crossing his arms, he began speaking. "You seem a little... tense, sire," he chuckled evily. "Afraid of us, perhaps? You weren't like this when we first met, nor when you were placing me on that sheet of paper." "It's the cold," East replied quietly, casting a questioning eye at Kovian. And the fact that I'm surrounded by bloody monsters... He added to himself. "Cold," Kovian replied lazily. "Right..." East shivered as the two stopped talking. He wondered what Igolo would be like once he finally got around to summoning him.
"Get up." The command hadn't been bothered to be lathered in a kind tone. Rather, it shattered the already fragmented atmosphere. A cold beckoning surrounded his speech, and Seaun's eyes turned, hardened, towards the group gathered around the Corrupted's side. "Of course." Cei spoke in a whisper, and the elven man stood up, both eyes trained on the one before him. "You want to see the truth, Cei?" An almost amused voice spoke out from Seaun's mouth. 'Seaun...?' A slight shiver echoed down the man's back as he turned towards the child. A child? "The truth, sir?" "Corruption or Angelic wisdom. Death or Life. In other words, do you want to be good... or good?" Seaun spoke out, and smirked. "Is there much of a choice between two of the same? Of course Life is better then death. Of course being an Angel is better then being corrupted. But why are the choices good or good?" "Cei. If were are a spy, would you consider yourself 'bad?'" Seaun asked politely, a slight facade covering his face.
"What should we do now?" Deyna asked. "Wait." Said Destroyer. Deyna watched Gruel chase his own tail as a wolf. Other demons looked at him like he was a complete idiot. Gruel didn't seem to notice, or maybe he didn't care what others thought of him as. "I wish I could be like Gruel. He's so calm..." More like hyper." Interrupted Destroyer. Deyna glared at Destroyer. He chuckled. "You seem to have a laughing problem." Said Deyna.
IC: Arcane shook his head at the wolf-like Demon running around the room. "Imbecile," he said. "Don't be so judgemental," Kovian said flatly. "Silence," Arcane ordered. "Don't even try to attempt to be a Pure Soul here, Kovian - we all know what kind of horrible things you've done." "You speak of them as if it's bad," Kovian chuckled. "I wouldn't expect that from you..." "Would you two shut up?" East snapped. "Before I send you back to whereever."
"No. I doubt that I would consider myself as doing something with evil intentions if I had just been hired to do that job." Cei replied back with a slight sense of self-doubt. "No?" Seaun smiled wickedly, "Why, of course not." 'Seaun Naito can't be a 'kid.'' "I'm afraid I don't understand." "What I mean is," Seaun paused to shrug, "In war, only the winner defines which side is evil, and which one is good." "In other words, good, or good?" Cei hesitated. "Corruption or corruption?" "Yes." "So I'm guessing-" "Yes."
IC: Gruel stopped spinning around and attempted to stand still. In the crowd, he noticed a demon that appeared to be missing it's face. Stumbling trough the crowd, he approached the demon. As he came closer he noticed that his own face was reflected in the other demon's face. "You stole my face!" Guel exclaimed, "Give it back!"
Although slightly reluctant to do so, Yue followed along with the conversation without speaking a single word of interruption. That is... until the mention of corruption came upon the discussion. "So what you're saying is.. that we're to side with corruption? But won't that be bad-" Seaun smiled. "Yes. It would be /bad./"
