OoC :: I guess I will post the starting post while I still have time! :D And thank you for joining us, Embers!

The pure white wolf's ears stuck up in the ragged, obviously dagger-made holes at the top of his cloak's hood as he made his way to the ever crumbling mountain of Salamandstron. The sand settled after his paws rose, making each step harder than the last. The waves greedily took sand back into the dark ocean as the wolf stepped onto the hard rock of the mountain. Of the grand home of the Long Patrol, and of the Badger Lord. The dark green eyes of the wolf settled upon the entrance of the mountain, that led into an ever winding building. He looked up and dropped his ears so that his hood didn't conceal him any longer.

A large gust of wind blew through, carrying the wolf's soft voice. "Sigil, it is I, Fliau, Wolven Healer. I have come to start the journey." Fliau's green eyes twinkled with wise sayings, and some sort of courage; but loyalty seemed to outshine them all. Using his great white paws, he covered his face once again as another chilling blast shot through him, seemingly freezing his blood. "This shall be one interesting journey," laughed the wolf.

The sleek red fox trudged up the rocky hill, her midnight blue cloak shielding her from the worst of the wind. Her ears perked as she heard a whisper echoing through the rocks, of the wolf healer Fliau. The name was familiar to her, and she sped up, now hurrying up the rocks, her pouch of beads and bones bouncing against her paws. She saw the wolf healer standing in a green cloak at the entrance to the Badger Lord's home. "Fliau!" She called, letting the hood of her cloak fall down. "I did not realize that your star would be shooting among us on this journey," She said as she nimbly leaped up to the entrance.

Ooc: Shall I say that she knows Fliau? xD Oh, and does anyone need translations? I might not understand what it is half the time anyway. xD

OoC :: Sure about them knowing each other! And it's up to you for the translations!

The wolf's dark green eyes twinkled as the white wolf nodded and smiled to the vixen. "Saiou. Yes, I have decided to join you all." His grim eyes set upon the mountain of Salamandstron as he took a step back and clicked his tongue in disapproval. "This mountail surely has seen the better; though also face the worst. I have heard a tale, that this mountain was attacked by rain of fire... Interesting, no?" he said, smiling. Fliau's ears twitched as they slunk back through the holes so he could properly hear. "This mountain contains such history, one could not imagine the life that inhabits it. Young ones still believe the souls of the passed badger lords still walk...," he added in his quiet, wise voice with a wistful smile. Paws laying to rest on the pouch around his waist on a leather belt, he smiled and nodded to the vixen beside him. His dark green eyes were now again placed upon the dark rock 'kingdom', that, though not as appealing to look at as the Redwall Abbey, was still a homely, beautiful place within.

It didn't take long for her to fly to Salamandstron; she had made the trip and arrived earlier, so the heavy winds hadn't bothered her. Another round above the great home of the Badger Lord and she spotted two figures near the base of the rocky mountain.

The wind ruffling her feathers, she dived down lower towards the ground, calling in her speech, "Greetings, Filau, Saiou!" She landed in the lee of the entrance, and inquired, "I trust your trip was comfortable?"

Yei, unlike the other two ground-bound animals, did not wear clothing; it would have hindered her flight. Instead, a small pouch--a gift from a friend--containing several various objects hung around her neck, the cloth only slightly dirty and battered from flying in rough conditions. It lay nestled in her breast feathers, a small peek of cream dirty against clean feathers.

ooc; Haha. I find that moles are harder to understand, although you get used to it after a while... x___x; BUT THEIR SPEECH IS SO CUTE! (=o=)v

And. Are they supposed to know each other? If they don't, we can all pretend this post is void~ =^=;;

Siaou's green eyes twinkled mischievously, and she replied, "Has not everything seen the worst, and yet better at the same time?" She looked back at the mountain castle, tilting her head to the side. "Sigil! I, Saiou, am here for the journey of many star-fields!" Her voice was raised, and the wind picked it up almost greedily, rushing into the living castle, taking her words with it. "Do you think we should step inside this living mountain?" She asked, in her mysteriously infuriating words.

Ooc: I'm proud of myself! xD I thought it would be really hard to think of things for Siaou to say :3

"My, my! I thought for certain that you would be shattered against the rocks, Wolfie!" A certain gray squirrel mused humorously between chuckles, appearing behind the white wolf. (ooc;; my sad attempt at being humorous. :l and talking like a squirrel...) Upon hearing a rather unique voice, he whipped around, still holding his hood by the tips of his fingers.

"Well, isn't this a pleasant surprise!" Karlow smiled courtely at the fox, bowing his head down; this was the first time he's ever met a creature like such as herself, and the rodent felt strangely honored by her presence. The abnormally long ears that adorned his small head twitched as the wolf began recounting tales of the mountain, and a cheeky smile trailed onto Karlow's pale face.

A sudden gust of cool wind whipped at his visage, and the hood was blown off. It felt like a storm was brewing, but not quite exactly. The air was much more crisp. Glancing up, he stared fervently at the owner of a bird-like call. A hawk.
"Why, hello, Yei!" Waving a paw in the air, the squirrel put his hood back on with the other.

o o c;; I'll be gone for a few minutes.

Fliau nodded a greeting to the two arriving friends, and chuckled at Saiou's comment. "It is not wise to just enter upon a badger's terrorty; wouldn't you say?" he murmured, mischief twinkling in his eyes. He obviously had a tale, but something distracted him. "Yei, Karlow; on your way here; were dark clouds approaching? I fear the worst, though I suspect Saiou will know better than I," joked Fliau weakly, attempting to lighten the mood at least a little more. Picking up the squirrel, he smiled and placed his friend on his head. "Do you see Lord Boarfire, Karlow?" asked the white wolf, green eyes questioning.

"Well," Saiou chuckled. "If you're speaking about those dark clouds," She pointed off to the east, where there was a smudge on the horizon, "then yes, I do know about them. The stars and earth have told me of the coming storm. It shall last for over three star-watchings, and will arrive in less than two star-watchings." She smiled. "Unless you mean 'dark clouds' as such in fables, the warnings of danger?" Saiou asked, an eyebrow raised.

Ooc: A star-watching is a night in Saiou's eyes, btw :3

"I suppose I mean both then, I guess!" laughed the wolf. "But then again, I all ready know of the creaturely dark clouds that shall hit us... In a matter of days, once we start off," Fliau smiled, patting his pouch of herbs. "These will definitely come in handy," he said in his quiet, whispering voice. "Two nights the storm shall arrive... Gives us enough time to set off and fine somewhere; no?"

"Only you use such befuddling [ ooc; haha... I like this word now~ xDD ] language when describing foretellings of danger," Yei commented, her own formal language not withstanding. Examining the clouds Saiou pointed out, she fluttered to a higher ledge where other rocks did not block her way. A moment later and she glanced down at the squirrel and returned his greeting: "Karlow! Greetings, my friend. I suppose we are merely waiting for Lord Boarfire and the otter... ah, Lola." She added the last bit as she recalled the cheerful otter's name.
