Derric swallowed & looked up at Kari, he gave her a sympathetic look. He suddenly got up & ran to a corner, he knelt down. He emptied his stomach into a small toilet in the corner, he body jerked around & he panted heavily. He turned & sat down next to the toilet incase he needed to puke again, he looked towards Kari. He wished she would stay with him but she needed to help Kenzie, he reminded himself.

Kenzie stopped crying after awhile and looked into her backpack. She grabbed her hot pink Ipod and a bag of chips from lunch. She started eating and listening to her favorite song. I'm With You by Avril Lavigne. She sang slong quietly to the music.

Kari needed her yellow Ipod. She put on her favorite song I Wanna by All American Rejects and crawled over to Derric. Her hands still shook slightly but she looked up at him. She grabbed a tissue out of a small pack in her backpack and wipped the corner of his lip. She blushed alittle and threw it in the trash can. She looked back "Sorry"she whispered

"I....." Derric closed his eyes & leaned over the toilet, he threw up again. He felt his body quiver & he slowly leaned back, he wiped his mouth. "It's okay...." he whispered as he leaned his head back, his ears were pointed & had some brown fur on them. His bottom jaw was slightly pushed out & two fangs grew instead of his bottom canines.

Kari rubbed his back as he threw up and then handed him a stick of Watermelon gum. She popped one in her mouth and then leaned back beside him. "Wanna listen?"she asked holding out an ear phone for him. She was still listening to the same song.

Kenzie ate the chips and sang quietly in her own little world

Derric looked at the gum in his hand & looked up at Kari. He thought for a momet & slowly noded because he had abit of a headache. The sky outside wasn't comepletely dark yet so he wasn't go to change any more until it was darker. He felt like he had already changed abit, he slowly reached up & felt along his jaw. He felt his fangs & thought that his jaw made him looked hideous.

Kari looked up at him and c ocked her head to the side. "You okay?"she asked looking up at him. She took off her backpack and sat it ont he ground beside her. Looking up at him she had a worried look in her eyes. For the first time she remembered her sister. Taking out her cell phone she text Kenzie

Kar~ You okay

Kenzie felt ehr phone vibrate and picked it up. She slid it open and read the text.

Kenz~ No I'm surrounded

Kar~ by.....

Kenz~ Clowns

Kar~ There is a giant talking spider out side the door named Oliver

Kenz~ Cute!

Kar~ Yeah!...no

Kenz~ You have to admit Oliver is a cute name

Kar~ I guess so but still

Derric leaned his head back & continued to feel his oddly shaped jaw. He felt his pointed & fuzzy ears, he looked at his palms. They were fuzzy too, he frowned & pulled his knees to his chest. He usually did this to try & comfort himself, but it wasn't working very well. The werewolf in the cage was watching him in a corner.

Kari walked over to the wolf and scratched him behind the ears. She was smiling at him but it disappeared when he sneezed on her. Covered in snot she got up and said "Thank's a load" to the wolf. She had clothes to change into but she couldn't. Reason number uno, Derric was in here. Reason two; there was a giant spider on the other side of the door. She tried to sling it off but it was stuck. it was in her hair on her shirt and on her arms.

The werewolf shook his head from the sneeze & let his ears down. Derric made a disgusted face & looked up at Kari, he looked at the werewolf. He tried to tell the werewolf to turn around so she could change clothes, but barking came from his mouth. The werewolf's ears perked up & he did what he was told, Derric had a surprised look on his face. He turned & faced the wall for Kari.

Kari blushed deeply "Th-thanks"she whispered greetfully. She dug through her bag and quickly changed into the clothes she was planning on wearing for the party. She put her other clothes on the ground in a snotty heap. Pulling her jacket on but not zipping it she said "Kay I'm dressed" while brushing her hair. Once she was finished she let it fall around her shoulders and turned around to go back to where she was sitting ebfore th sneeze.
