Julia gave a bold laugh and smiled. "Sounds fun, Will!" she said, grinning. And then she tapped his bow and said, "It is pretty simplistic, if ya ask me, Will. All ya do is pull it back and release. It may seem hard at first, but you will get used to it. Believe me." Then she grinned and closed her eyes. Then looking over to Kyle, she added quietly, "He might be of some help." Placing the sword beside her, she sighed and looked at it. It was a pitiful excuse for a sword; it was short, no longer than her ivory arm.

Will glanced down at the bow for a moment. Not to long later loud thudding echoed from the hall in front of the cage. "Come on then!" The beast was back. Now it was their turn to try and get out of here. If they didnt, they would all die. Will sent a glance to Julia and nodded. The minotuar opened the gate and pointed at Will, Julia and Sawback. "Sorry to say that you pampered combatants dont get to eat until you have won this round. Get your pathetic hides out there!" Will was quite frozen with fear now. The beast narrowed its eyes and stomped forward. "I said move!" Will hesitated and backed away. The minotuar was quickly lozing patients. It placed the keys on its belt and reached forward to throw will out of the cage.

"Hey, you big, fat, jerk! Pick ons omeone who actually has the will to take you on!" shouted Julia, narrowing her eyes and taunting the minotaur. She drew her sword and pointed it at the Minotaur's head. "I have pretty good aim, cow. So try me. I know javelin throwing, and this pitiful excuse for a sword isn't much different from a javelin!" snapped Julia, laughing in mockery of the beast. Her eyes glanced to Will for a second. "When he turns towards me, grab the keys," said her eyes.

Will caught the look and understood instantly. He still shook, but more or less on purpose now to keep up the charade. The minotuar turned to Julia with a furious sneer, "You? You think you can acctually hurt me? Did you forget about that collar on your neck? Stupid little ape." The minotaur took a dangerous step forward. Its sickly eyes blazing with anger. Will saw his chance and took it. He snuck away behind the minotuar. Its attenion was completely wrapped around Julia. Will reached forward and grabbed the key ring swiftly. He tucked them behind his back and backed away slowly. He underhandedly tossed them in to Kyle's lap and scooted forward before his shaking presence was missed by the minotuar beast. With a dark snort the beast pulled out a glowing stick from its back that looked quite dangerous. The glowing didnt make Will feel any better either. It looked like it was full of electricity, like a tazer.

"You don't scare me, jerk," snapped Julia, her hazel eyes dangerous. Then as she saw Kyle hide the keys behind him, she dropped the sword and said in a bored voice, "All righty, cow. I give." Then she sat, and grinned to the Minotaur. Then her eyes darted to Will, they grinning brightly. Her brother Jack probably wouldn't be too happy about her actions or words, but he would be happy that she was getting out.

OoC :: I did not mean to god-mod, but I just did that so Kyle didn't get his head torn off. xD

The minotuar gave a harsh snort and grabbed Julia by the shoulder. "Get out there now!" He dragged her across the floor, not caring if she had left any weapon behind. He pointed the tazer stick at Will and Sawback. "Move!" The two combatants trudged out of the cage and out in to the arena. Will watched as the beast tossed Julia out in to the dirt as if she was nothing more than a sack of potatoes. Will rushed to her side to help her up. "Great, this is working like a charm," He said sarcastically. Still he was glad that Julia had done such a clever job at distracting the beast. The only problem was, now they were facing off against a group of other combatants.
"Welcome to teh second round of the arena! On the red team is a beast with muscle and not afriad to show it! Give it up for Kong!" A large beastly creature that did take quite teh resemblance to a gorilla growled dangerously at Sawback. It was obvious that it wanted to take on the biggest of the opponets. "Second! A creature that many would consider to be both beautiful and perfect is fighting in this years arena. Give it up for Jade!" Standing rather stiffly was a woman with large white wings cascading down her perfect figure. A tight toga wrapped around her body very nicely. Her blonde hair was tied neatly behind her and her bright blue eyes looked terrribly bored. "Lastly on the red team, is a boy whom has never had any experience fighting at all! Give it up for Manuel!"
Standing rather defensively was a boy of about Will's age. His large dark eyes bolted around wildely. Almost as if he had lost sanity. Will gulped harshly and glanced at his companions. He paid no more attentiont o the announcer as he listed off the combatants on the blue team. Rather Will gripped his bow harshly and tried not to faint.

Julia snarled. She had grabbed her sword at the last moment, and now held it tightly in her hands. Her knuckles were wight as she stared at the woman named Jade. Then her eyes softened sympathetically at Will. "We shall hold off angel here and gorrila-man. You take on Manuel. Got it?" she said, eyes serious, but sympathetic for Will. He was an Overachiever, and as far as she could tell, emotionally unstable. Then she looked at Saw-back, and gave the creature a reassuring smile. "I trust you to hold off that thing, dino," she said to the saw-backed dinosaur creature, and then placed herself before Will.
"'Kay, I know we said we would hold them off, but that Manuel kid; he looks as battle ready as you. I know you can do this Will, now get a grip on a quiver, and shoot as soon as you can, got it? I don't care if it only goes three inches. That is a start!" Julia said confidently, though she wasn't sure how this would end. She took karate, but the woman had wings. She sighed and then closed her hazel eyes for a second. Opening them, Julia had a new resolve. This is so I can get back to my brother, Jack. And my family. And friends. And for my new friends. This is so we can all survive.

"Don't worry, he won't know what hit him." The blade on Saw-back's back began to spin. "Bring it ape!" Saw-back bellowed loudly, straightening up so that he seemed a little taller than his actual height of nine feet. His tail slammed into the ground, eager for the beginning of the fight.
"Whoever finishes of their opponent should help another out. Remember that we all want to get out of here alive."

IC: "... Is he gone?" Kyle said quietly, peeking through the energy field and into the hall. It was empty, save for the torches that provided what little light that could be seen. "That was an incredibly stupid - though I admit, bold - move. Hopefull those two's luck will pay off for them..."
Turning back, ignoring the eyes of the other prisoners as they watched him, he retruned to the keys, fidddling with each one as he attempted to find the one that would get this stupid collar off.
