"Dustclaw?" Rainpaw asked again. He shook his head, as if clearing water from his ears, and meowed,
"No one really knows what happened. I mean, people say they do, and act brave, as if they fought it off and helped the Clan get away, but the truth is, no one knew what it was. It was like an enveloping darkness, killing cats as it went. Some of our Clan fled toward Twolegplace, I think they were confused. I didn't see a single cat who ran that way get hurt though, and I'm wondering if they're still alive. The rest of us ran for the waterfall. It was a hard chase, and the thing kept picking off the cats who straggled, mainly the elders." Dustclaw raised his head toward the sparkling waterfall. "Honeypelt was the only elder who made it. She ran as if the whole of StarClan were guiding her paws." His whiskers twitched with a slight amusement, but then his eyes darkened again. "It seemed to be afraid of water, because as soon as we got into the cave it made some really weird noise, and then left." Rainpaw was shocked, but she finally understood.
"So it's because no one knows what to look out for that we're all so scared of going outside?" She made sure to include herself into the question.
"Pretty much. Of course, you'll always get the tom like Iceleaf acting all heroic to woo a she-cat," He winked mischievously at her, finally perking up slightly. Rainpaw let out a mrrow of laughter and smiled at him.
"Thanks Dustclaw!" She mewed, and stood up.
"No problem, Rainheart," he answered as she padded away.

Ooc: Sorry that it totally goes against what you said Dawnsers, I just don't think a big dog would chase out a whole Clan~ o3o

((yeah, dawny. Like I said, I have a reason, that I will reveal in one of my own posts, but the problem will be harder to figure out than by just asking. Plus, I had said before that It isn't actually LeafClan in those caves. xD))

Dustpaw nodded to himself. Great... what was he supposed to do? Be a great big lump thats what. With a sigh he turned to his cave and trotted over slowly. Perhaps a bit of alone time would help him sort out what he was going to do. While Shadowpaw was eating he couldnt tell Dustpaw the names of the cats. He would have to wait. He looked up to see the cats of 'his' clan sharing tongues with one another and as he padded by their heads dipped with great respect. He wasnt that good of a leader was he? Certainly not, still he was their leader and he had to figure out quickly how to be one.

((Naw, I don't think anyone else made a mistake. Someone would have if I hadn't clarified just then, though. xD The cats in the cave would have clan names, because Dustpaw is Duststar, Lily's the deputy, etc.))

Shadowpaw finished and started licking his paws and chest. He might as well do some good, so he grabbed a vole and trotted to Dustpaw. "Vole," he asked, as if trying to make some sort of peace offering as an apoligy. He hated saying 'sorry', especially since he had only been playing and he didn't know much about controling his strength when they'd been playing. He was having some problems still in this adult form as well, but it was a bit easier.

Dustpaw looked up to Shadowpaw, down to the vole and then back up to the black tom. He nodded slightly accepting the unsaid apology with a silent 'its okay'. He reached forward and took the vole. With a small bite of the creature in his mouth he looked up again at Shadowpaw. "So," he started a bit awkwardly, "You said you had the names eh? Would you mind telling me?" Dustpaw sat up after he took another bite of the vole and gave and easy even look to Shadowpaw now that their understanding was now taken care of and dismissed.

"Yeah," he said, licking a paw and running it over his ear. "The medicine cat's name is Glimmerleaf," he started quietly, then continued telling Dustpaw all of the names and what rank each cat was, along with a small description so you could tell who was who. When he was done, Shadowpaw sighed awkwardly. "I guess you're Duststar until we get all of this figured out, huh?"

Basically, Shadowpaw is telling you to make up names when you need 'em. XDDDDD

OOC2: I think my laptop got zapped in a storm, so I won't be on until I can get it fixed. Either way, my laptop isn't working one bit. *is tapping at her mom's desk, mooching off of teh interweb'z*
