Duskstar laughed as well, not caring what she scared away or brought near. "I was the youngest one, always. But that didn't matter. We were all the best of friends. Now...I guess I got my dream. But I do miss the old times. It seems like the world dims as you grow older. More sadness and spilled blood and less carefree joy." She sighed, and her eyes were wistful once more. "The one reason I remember the day of my warrior ceremony most is because of you guys. Eaglesight ran ahead when we were coming to meet you that way and left me in the dust, which was something I wasn't used to. I'm sure he told you that I had become a warrior, because you were all chanting my name when I finally caught up. Oh, that was the proudest day. I had finally become a warrior, and was not the only apprentice among us. Although I'm quite sure that our clans did not like our friendship at all, how could they know that our friendship brought peace among WindClan and ThunderClan?" Duskstar chuckled again as she padded through the quiet moorland with Ebbs by her side.

Ebbs flicked Duskstar in the flank with the tip of her fluffy black tail. "Oh i remember that day so well." She chuckled softly. The former leader's eyes blazed with warmth as she turned them to her friend. A sadness touched her face though. "How have you been getting along since... since he vanished?" Ebbs' voice grew tender knowing that Eaglesight had been so close to the tabby Thunderclan leader. A rift had been caused by the warrior's disappearance. ONe day the gray tom had just mysteriously vanished from everyone's knowledge. They had not seen or heard from him since that dreadful day. She remembered racing beside Duskstar and Goldheart in a desperate search for any scent of him but there wasnt any. Not to long after they had befriended a cat that had somewhat filled the gap he had left. Flight had come and filled the void that Eaglesight had left.

Just thought it would make an interesting thing to talk about XD Here is the avvie by the way! If you have trouble with it let me know =D
When you put it in the avvie spot the quality will drop just in case you didnt know ;D

Duskstar's grin lessened visibly. "It's been...hard. But most of the Clan is getting along well, if not with less action. Nothing interesting seems to happen anymore. Most of the cats seem visibly saddened, and few make remarks about anything. I'm starting to wonder if it's something I've done..." The tabby she-cat hung her head for a moment. "That was one of the reasons I was going to the Moonpool just now." There were many things she wanted to ask StarClan, and one of the things had been if she was being a horrible leader. The other thing was something of even greater importance. The only thing slightly holding her from saying it was endless moons of training in not telling outside cats of their problems. But then she pushed that feeling away disgustedly. Ebbs had been there for her through everything, despite the fact that Duskstar was much younger. "The other reason I was going to the Moonpool was...ThunderClan doesn't have a medicine cat." The tabby leader looked up at her friend, waiting for a reaction.

THANKIES~ *tackles* xD Btw, what does the avvie say? o3o

It says Beautiful and going down using the same B it says Bold =D

Ebbs was slightly shocked at the idea of a clan not having a medicine cat. Yet she remembered that Rainpelt had decided to train as a warrior and Cherrytail had been gone for so long it was presumed that she had either died or become a rogue. Ebbs looked down at the ground for a moment before she turned back to Duskstar, "I know that since his disappearance that Thunderclan hasnt recovered but i had thought he had at least taken on an apprentice." The black she cat sighed softly as her voice became gentle. "I am sure that Starclan will have their answer waiting for you." Many thoughts pushed in to her head at that moment. Ebbs had once trained to be the medicine cat of Windclan. She had even taken on an apprentice! Warmth filled her chest as she recalled the spunky ginger tabby named Tabbystripe. That had caused another strange though. With a chuckle she looked to Duskstar, "Do you remember that time when i had become the medicine cat of Windclan? If you would like for old times sake, i can take on a Thunderclan apprentice and teach them to learn the ways of the medcine cat." Ebbs' ice blue eyes glowed with mischief but seriousness at the same time. This was an offer she was willing to go through with.

"Oh, would you Ebbs?" Duskstar's eyes filled with relief, and as she sighed, it seemed as if one of the heavy burdens was lifted from her shoulders. Maybe it was StarClan's bidding that Duskstar lost her way and found Ebbs. Maybe this was how she could fix her clan. The world seemed clearer all of a sudden, and the stars shone brighter, dancing upon the grass.

Writer's block XDDD sorry~

Ebbs laughed good heartedly. "Alright, tomorrow i shall come with you to Thunderclan and train a new medicine cat apprentice." She smiled softly at she remembered her mentor Hawkstripe. He had taught her everything he knew to become a medicine cat and yet she hadnt been cut out for the job. The black she cat had the heart of a drifter, no spot in the clan seemed to be completely right except deputy and she had surpassed that position a long time ago. Still, she knew how to teach a young cat in the ways of the code. She knew all the right words and the right ceremonies. It seemed to be her destiny that she met Duskstar on the night she needed to contact Starclan about a medcine cat. "They sure do work in strange ways..." Ebbs laughed softly.

How about to help the writers block, you play the apprentice =D Its not like this has to be based completely around true events ;)

"They do don't they?" Duskstar chuckled. "Never a straight answer. Not even at the Moonpool. They're so dodgy, but I guess that helps us not depend completely on them." Duskstar smiled again, and gazed at the slight reflection of the stars on the lake. It made the lake appear to be made of a glowing silver water. Thank you StarClan! She thought quietly to herself.

Sure~ :3 XD We'll have a longterm roleplay here soon, just you wait. Oh, and could you close the ThunderClan roleplay board? Dx It's kinda hard to clean up the boards in a clan if you aren't a mod.

You know what the funny thing is? I can acctually join the new RP that you will open in THunderclan and we can acctaully continue this there as the starting plot line =D

Ebbs' mouth pulled in to a gaping yawn before she led the rest of the way to her den. "Alright then, lets get some shut eye for tomorrow." She crawled in to the grassy entrance of an ol badger and settled in the back with a smile. "Come in when you feel tired." She called out.

You can~ I'll start the new roleplay right now o3o

"Good night!" Duskstar called cheerfully. She turned back to gaze out over the lake. The grasses rolled around her, looking like waves of silver and green dancing upon the hillside. It reminded her of the days when she was still Duskheart. The good days. And the carefree days. When she always had fun, and when everything was clear and happy. And when nobody kept secrets, a voice added inside her head. She ignored it, and smiled sadly as she remembered Eaglesight. Yes, that was what she missed most. Let the whole forest and lake-side crash around her, let the clans be driven away, let them have to find somewhere else to live. She could survive through all that, but give her back Eaglesight. That was the one thing she could barely make it through the day without. But she still had her friends. Ebbs and Goldheart helped her the most after Eaglesight disappeared. And then Flight came. She was so much like Eaglesight, that she had slightly filled the gap in their hearts at Eaglesight's disappearance. She smiled and looked over at the lake one more time before turning around and padding into Ebbs' den. She curled up beside her friend and quickly fell asleep.

Oo IT"S EBBS!!
What happened to our beloved leader =)
Well, hope you enjoy your new like...

Timbersong padded across the clearing, and smelled the air. EBONYSTAR!! She ran toward her old friend, then saw Duskstar.
"Hey Ebonystar, Duskstar," she said cheerfully and out of breath. "What'cha doing?" She rolled around on the ground, trying to cool off, though it made her seem like a hyena. She got back up and shook the remains of grass off her fur, the looked up at the leaders.
