RE: ThunderClan Roleplay~

Willowkit's eyes widened. She had heard that phrase before! But where? No one ever said that about StarClan in ThunderClan... The image of a camp surrounded by a river on both sides and filled with reeds flashed through her mind. "No!" She cried, shutting her eyes. "That's not my home, and it never WILL BE!" This time, her face was directed toward Leopardstar and she was almost snarling.
"Willowshine, what are you talking about? You were RiverClan's medicine cat, of course it was your home," Leopardstar explained, bewildered.
"Will you STOP calling me that?! I'm Willowkit of ThunderClan! No one else!"

"Old man, are you trying to provoke me?"

Ebbs growled softly to herself, "Cant you see that you are upsetting her?" The black she cat had had enough of sitting by, trying to keep her emotions under control. She knew that staying calm wasnt her style. She would go insane if she tried. "Just tell her what is going on!" Ebbs' ice blue eyes smoldered with anger. Hawkstripe tossed a glace to Leopardstar and waited for some sort of response, as if he didnt want to be responsible for telling. Ebbs stood up taller and glared darkly, "Tell us what is going on!"

"And tell me why I feel like I know every place that I've never set paw in!" Willowkit exclaimed. Leopardstar sighed.
"Calm down," she said quietly. Willowkit was stunned into silence. Finally, an answer? "Everything will be explained." Willowkit felt a growl in her throat, and saw that Leopardstar was smiling knowingly.
"Explain it NOW. And stop smiling at me like it's some joke!" Willowkit hissed, and saw that Leopardstar's smile was shocked off her face. Apparently, she had never been addressed like that when she was alive.
"Fine. I'll explain it. The straightest answer that StarClan has ever given," she meowed, smirking at some inside joke. "You're Willowshine."
"I'm WHO?" asked Willowkit, knowing just who she was, and she was no Willowshine.
"Willowshine, medicine cat of RiverClan, alive when Firestar and all the cats of legend were." An almost wistful look had crossed Leopardstar's face, as if she missed the days when she ran by the lakeside. "Happy now?"
"I-I'm...a ThunderClan cat! I'm no fishing swimmer!" the silver tabby exclaimed, her sapphire eyes glittering.
"You have the same eyes that she did. I still remember them to this day," Leopardstar meowed suddenly. Willowkit backed up a step or two. She couldn't have already died! She was Willowkit, six moons old, of ThunderClan. She didn't know a thing about medicine, or the warrior code, or anything!

Ebbs felt it was time to step in. "Leopardstar," she said firmly, "This is Willowkit. A daughter of Thunderclan and not Riverclan. I dont care who you think he is or whose spirit she carries, this is Willowkit. If she does indeed look like Willowshine that is not her fault. She has never done anythign that your medicine cat has done. She is her own cat. Looks dont make a clone. This she cat has lived and loved the warrior code as a Thunderclan cat. She cant even swim." Ebbs' eyes narowed, "I wish to train her as a Thunderclan medicine cat and i will not give her up to Riverclan." Ebbs wrapped her fluffy black tail around Willowkit's adult sized shoulders. Despite being larger than normal she was still smaller compared to her former Windclan mentor. "Return her to how she was and let her train under me." Ebbs' voice was unforgiving and powerful, just as it had been when she was a leader. She wasnt going to take no for an answer.

Leopardstar's eyes narrowed in return. "It can't be changed," she hissed. "It was Willowshine's choice, after many moons in StarClan, to return back to the lakeside and train as a warrior, for she did indeed wonder what it would have been like. I see she was confused, for she got lost in ThunderClan, and wound up as a medicine cat once more." She was almost spitting the last words. "Willowshine will not return to StarClan until this Willowkit passes away. There is no way known to StarClan to change this, and even if there was, it shouldn't work. Something has gone very wrong here. This kit should not know of RiverClan's territory, should not have been born in ThunderClan, nor should she be able to talk to me as Willowshine did. She is almost an exact copy, and I don't understand. So DON'T come whining to me." Leopardstar huffed and waited, tail fur bushed out as she waited for a reply.
Willowkit instinctively shrunk closer to Ebbs' bushy tail, wrapped around her shoulders, as Leopardstar unleashed something that would soon be fury.

Ebb's fur bristled making her look just as menacing as Leopardstar. She could have cared less if this she cat had lived during the times of the lake side lengends. Ebbs' would have taken on the whole of Starclan at that moment. "Just accept her as my apprentice and let us go home." Ebbs snarled. Her ice blue eyes fumed as she stood taller. It was odd seeing the large black she cat amongst so many starry warriors that were said be be so powerful and yet were shrinking away. Hawkstripe's eyes snapped open wide and he shot a glance at Leopardstar.
"What about Darkstar?" he whispered to her, "He predicted something remember? Doesnt this feel like it?" His green eyes darted between the dark loner and the dead starclan member.
Ebbs wasnt paying any attention to those petty words. She just wanted to hear that they were going home and that Willowkit could train as Willowpaw. "Send us back..." she snarled with her deep and slightly raspy voice.

"Alright alright!" Leopardstar snapped. "Where is Darkstar anyway? It's HIS clan, he should be dealing with this annoying furballs." She spat. "Fine. Willowkit, you will now be Willowpaw until you have finished training under StarClan as a medicine cat. Ebbs, you will be her mentor. Teach her well, and teach her all you know." The spotted leader did not seem to care if she used the correct words and turned away with a flick of her tail, padding off.

Willowkit...no, she was Willowpaw now, shook off the dream and stood up shakily. "That...didn't sound right.." she meowed to herself, saddened. 'Why does everything involving StarClan have to be so hard?!' she cried out silently. Then she turned to Ebbs' still form and waited for her mentor to wake up.

Ebbs watched the Starclan cats move away and disapear but teh fields of starry grass did not. She waited with a scowl. Why didnt it disappear yet. Ahead in the distance a shadow moved ominously. It choked the stars around it until they could no longer bee seen. To large orbs lit up in the darkness to the point where they looked ice blue. Ebbs bristled and flexed her claws. The orbs narrowed like large eyes and disappeared along with the shadow that had covered the stars. What on earth was that?
The fields around her diappeared and she awoke next to the Moonpool. Her limbs were cramped as she stood and stretched. Willowpaw beside her looked confused and sad. Ebbs sighed and turned to her. She decided to do her own ceremony. "Willowkit, do you promise to learn and heal the cats of your clan? Even at the cost of your own life?"

Willowpaw's ears perked up and her eyes brightened as Ebbs woke up and spoke the words that she thought were the real ones. "I do!" She exclaimed, her eyes glittering in the light of the stars, with a light that was and was not StarClan's. "And I'll heal the cats of other clans too!" She added on, smiling slightly.

Ebbs hesitated slightly. During her own ceremony as a medicine cat she had sounded half hearted and flimsy. The idea of staying in the medicine cat den never really appealed to her. With a shake of her head she continued, "Then from this day forward until you have recieved your warrior name you shall be known as Willowpaw." Ebbs stepped forward and touched noses with her, "May starclan guide you path." Ebbs' ice blue eyes twinkled with warmth as she pulled away. She felt something beside her bristle, as if one of the Starclan warriors has felt it was unnescarry to do another ceremony she Willowpaw had recieved one from a Starclan warrior. Ebbs didnt care though. Those half hearted dead cats had no power over her heart anymore.
