A month? Really? I thought I've been away longer than that.... Well I've finally found some extra time! Actually I making time for this. I have quite a bit of work to do right now. I guess you could call this procrastination. Lol Now...to think of something really intresting....Hmm.... Anybody noticed how all of the recent stories and stuff are not very...happy? Or how everything has to do with vampires? It's driving me nuts (the vampire thing is, I can live with the unhappy stories for a little longer). This obsession has inspired me to come up with a couple stories. One I've got all planned out.... I've put it in spoilers because...well....it's not the "prettiest" story, but when have vampire stories ever been "pretty"?
Spoiler
Vayje the Brutal. He's not a vampire, he's a dragon. Vampires helped him earn the name "The Brutal" though. When vampires first started to appear, the dragons thought nothing of them. They saw this new species as weak, many even thought of them as inferior. The dragons had nothing to worry about. The vampires could do nothing to the dragons, and many of them hated this. Many dragons would taunt the vampires, but they would never harm one. Though the two species did not like one another and did not usually get along, niether would go and actually kill or hurt the other. The dragons had decided that as long as the vampires did nothing to them, they didn't have to do any thing to the vampires. The vampires, knowing that a majority of the dragons were bigger and stronger than they were, decided to not mess with any of the dragons. Over the years, the two became used to each other, yet one being thought that he should prove that his kind was equal to the other. That vampires could be feared just as much as the dragons. Trenari the Assassin was a vampire who belived that the dragons would one day turn around and wipe out all vampires. In a way, Trenari was right, but it would be his fault. After gathering a group of followers, Trenari raided a dragon clan and slaughtered hatchlings and weaker dragons. This gave him the title of "The Assassin". During this raid, Trenari made a fatal mistake. The clan he had chosen to raid was the clan of Vayje. Vayje was known for having a violent temper. He had been awarded the title of "The Avenger" after avenging all of his fallen clanmates during the battle with the berserk demons, Brae and Wolgorn. Vayje had managed to force the two demons to flee from the planet by chasing the demons down continuously. "The Avenger" wasn't Vayje's only title. He had plenty more, and was about earn one more. The morning after Trenari's attack, Vayje went into a rage. He formed his own group of followers who were more than eager to spill vampire blood. It didn't take long for Vayje to find Trenari. Instead of killing Trenari, Vayje bound the vampire to himself to keep Trenari alive. Vayje then forced Trenari to watch as the enraged dragon devoured each of Trenari's followers. Vayje then took the vampire to a cave and trapped him there. Trenari cannot die since he is bound to Vayje. The only way he can die is if the bond is broken. The bond can only be broken if Vayje dies or if Vayje decides to break the bond. Vayje may have fixed the problem, but it came with a price. His talons and fangs have been dyed red from the vampire blood. His eyes have turned crimson from his fury. His scales have faded from bright silver to a pale, ghostly, greenish-white. The inside of his mouth and throat have turned black from eating the burning bodies. Smoke and a strange black sludge seep out from between his jaws. His voice is hoarse from continuous roaring. It is said that Vayje is cursed for losing control. Others say that that is what happens when a dragon eats a vampire. Currently, no vampires exist on the homeworld of the dragons. Vampires are extinct on this world, all except for one. Trenari the Assassin still exists in the cave Vyaje has sealed him in. Vayje himself still lives and is in excellent shape even though he may appear sick and weak. His actions agaisnt the vampires were called brutal and not entirely necessary. Many were positive that he would become a Dreadsoul, but Vayje appears to be in complete control of his body. When he returned from his massacre, his clan leader wasn't sure what to do with him. The leader understood why he did this, but he wasn't sure if he should actually congratulate him. Vayje had just gone on a rampage and killed every vampire. It didn't matter if the vampire was apart of Trenari's group or not, it was a target to the enraged dragon. After a few days, the clan leader decided to give Vayje a new title. There would be no celebration. It wouldn't be a happy ceremony. Vayje accepted his new title, "The Brutal". Many believed that the title wasn't good enough, but they had difficulty coming up with a better name. After recieving his new title, Vayje changed his name to Vayje Diseasescale the Brutal and left his clan. He now wanders around the cave where Trenari is held.
That's all I've got on vampires. No more for me. Back to Digimon and Dreadsouls.
Something else I've noticed... If violence never solves anything, why does it?
Wow -- nice job, Rekk -- your grammar skillz have definitely improved, and once again you show your ability to bring together different myths without problem. You know, your writing style for this reminds me a bit of a documentary -- not that that's a bad thing, though. :P
On the other things -- I think you know my stance on those. :3
i will deffinitely read that. and i should type up my commentary for new moon for me. if you're as sick of twilight as i am, or the whole vampire thing, you'll love it. ^^ people hated me for it. hahaha!

RPs are fun, I'm sure most of you agree with me. One of the things I like about RPs is that someone comes up with a story and lets other people add to it. If the RP survives to the end, then you have an epic story. I'm sure you're wondering why I'm talking about RPs. Well, I've decided to make a new RP. This RP continues off of another story of mine that I'm kinda still working on. I've got it all planned out, I've just got to finish writing it. This story is about the Dreadwar, a terrifying war fought amongst dragons. What were they fighting about? A Demon God. There were two sides, one that wanted the Demon to live and the other wanted the Demon to die. The Demon God had no say in any of this. The dragons fought for years until it came to a sudden end. The final battle took place in the Valley where the Wind Never Blows. This is what the dragons called it. This valley is surrounded by giant, sharp, spikes made of rock. It is believed that these spikes are what keeps wind from blowing in this valley. In the heart of the valley is a giant tree. When I say giant, I mean flipping huge. It's big by dragon standards, so, its got to be huge! A large lake surrounds this tree which sits on an island big enough for two full grown dragons to stand on. Smaller lakes are scattered around the valley. There are two entrances to this valley besides just flying over the spikes. Caves on opposite ends going through the stone wall lead in and out of this valley. During the final battle, a strange fog appeared. All fighting stopped since the dragons could no longer see. A booming voice echoed through the valley. "Enemies you are not! You look the wrong way! You are only helping the true enemy! Stop this fighting or be cursed!" The dragons ignored the voice and they were cursed. The cursed dragons became Dreadsouls, a being that only kills. Dreadsouls seek out anything living and slaughter it. They have no emotion. Dreadsouls are known for their howl. A loud mornful howl that causes even the bravest of beings to shiver in fear. A Dreadsoul is said to never let any one escape alive, but Drig proved this wrong. Drig was a veteran of the Dread War who didn't become a Dreadsoul. He was a young dragon who only wanted to find his friends, Nitrox and Chrome. During the war, Drig was like any other young dragon, he was eager to fight. But, during his first battle, he quickly changed his mind. While out on a scouting mission, his squad was attacked. Everyone but he and Nitrox were killed. What happened between Drig's lucky escape and him being found by the Cliff-side Clan remains unknown. Drig never speaks of it. But a few have been able to get a bit of information out of him. When Drig was found by the clan, he had been carrying a small, black, hawk dragon hatchling. After being continuously questioned about how he had found the hatchling, Drig finally told the end of his story. Drig had been wandering around searching for his friends when he heard the howl of a Dreadsoul, instead running away, he ran towards it. What Drig saw would haunt him for the rest of his life, his good friend Chrome attacking two innocent hawk dragons. Drig decided he wouldn't let his friend just kill the two other dragons, so he jumped out and demanded that Chrome stop. When the larger dragon looked at him, Drig realized his friend was a Dreadsoul. Drig tried his best to tell his friend to stop, but he knew it was hopeless. The big, black, five headed dragon hissed, growled, and struck at the pleading dragon. Drig finally decided that he had no choice but to kill his friend. When Drig drew his weapon, something odd happened. Chrome paused and remained frozen in place for several seconds. After what seemed like an eternity, one of the heads looked back at the hawk dragons. The frightening expression on Chrome's face changed to one of horror and sadness. The big dragon howled a howl that sounded nothing like a Dreadsoul's howl and he flew away. Drig sat and watched Chrome's figure dissapear into the night sky for several moments until he heard a noise. A hatchling, most likely the offspring of the two dragons Chrome had killed, was hidden in the bushes. Drig picked up the hatchling and carried him to the nearest Clan. Days later, news spread that Chrome's body had been seen in the Valley Where the Wind Never Blows. Drig was devastated, he worried that the same had happened to his other friend, Nitrox. Fortunately, Nitrox showed up, not as a Dreadsoul, but as a Weapons Master. He told Drig that he too was a Weapons Master. Drig was pleased to hear this, but he remained depressed. Nitrox tried everything to cheer his friend up, but nothing seemed to work. So he went to speak with Varneco, the creator of the Weapons Masters and the reason fo the Dread War. After hearing Drig's tale, Varneco told Drig that if they could find the Eyes of the Beast Kings and the Beast Kings themselves, they could free the remaining Dreadsouls. After hearing this, Drig said that they must find the Eyes and the Beast Kings so that they can ensure that no other innocent lives would be taken by the Dreadsouls. Unfortunatley, they needed more Weapons Masters in order to complete this task, and Drig and Nitrox were the only Weapons Masters. Varneco told them he would seek out more Weapons Masters for them, but they wouldn't be what they were expecting. Drig and Nitrox said that they didn't care who the new Weapons Masters were, but that they could get enough to free the Dreadsouls from their curse. So Varneco left and returned later with the third Weapons Master, a human by the name of Blake Yaeger. At first, Drig and Nitrox weren't too pleased with having an inexperienced human help them with such a difficult task, but eventually, they accepted him. Varneco continues to hunt for new Weapons Masters, and he plans on only recruiting young humans. Why? No one is quite sure, maybe it is because young humans tend to be more free of the corruption that lies withing so many older humans.
That's a great intro for this new RP isn't it? Well, I'm going to go see what else I can get done on this thing. Suggestions would be helpful.
Best Monday ever....Seriously. Just about everyone around where I live woke up this morning, looked out the window, saw no snow, got ready for school/work, stepped outside, and slipped and fell. My dad gave me call after he left for work and warned me that there was black ice all over the place so I double checked my school district's site. But we still had school. We have school, and there's a sheet of ice covering the roads and sidewalks. Did anyone actually check the roads. Turns out that it drizzled around 5 am (which is about the time that they decide whether or not to delay school) and it froze. So now everyone has to find a way to get to school. Most people chose to wait until 2nd period to leave. But there were the brave people who actually walked, drove, or rode the bus to school. Most of them were late. I was. When I left this morning, I thought it was too icy for me to actually reach the bus stop, so I head back inside where my mom told me to go back out. So left again and met with my friend. We then ice skated (yes, we ice skated) to the hill that leads to our bus stop. Then we walked on the grass the way down. We hung out at our bus stop till a bus (not ours) picked us up and took us to school. We said walking to the bus was like an obstacle course and that this was the best Monday ever.
I wish it would freeze over here! At least, I wish it would again -- the one time it did, I didn't have a jacket to wear so that I could go and slide around on the ice. >.< Totally unfair... Did you use actual ice skates, or did you just like, skate with your shoes?
O_O I wanna slide around on ice...!!! -.- Stupid Corvallis weather -- not raining and thus freezing (which it has only done once -- see later in post) until it heats up, and then only freezing when I don't have a jacket... I hate Corvallis. I wish it would snow at all here -- if it has over there at all, you should consider yourself lucky, 'cause I haven't got any so far. =P
