"Hm? Oh, there's Alex!" Will cried, as they entered the room. Lucifer was not too amazed at the amount of people, and so he just ran after Will as his sponsor sprinted over to his friend. "Hey Alex, meet my kid, he's Lucifer." Lucifer nodded, and added,
"Lucifer of Tortall." He knew it would be strange that he came from the castle, but hopefully no one would ask too many questions. There was a slender boy sitting at the table, eating a few potatoes, and Lucifer went over to him, sitting down. "Hey, I'm Lucifer," he said, as he began grabbing food to pile onto his plate.

Thax followed behind Sebastian by a few steps. When they had found the table with the other first year pages, Sebastian pointed for Thax to sit somewhere. The dark haired boy shrugged his shoulders and found a spot at the edge. He tossed a glance to a few of the other kids before he gave a sigh and helped himself to a plate of his own. Sebatian however made loud and boisterous comments with the other older pages. Thax figured that there was a big difference between those who wanted to be there and those that were force.

Alissa paced nervously inside her room. She looked around nervously and then relaxed. She knew she had to be calm, in order to get the right page to sponser her. When she heard the sound of a man calling them out of their rooms, she became afraid, that she wasn't trained enough, in advance. When Hale was finished speaking, the pages etched away looking at the 10 pages. Alissa stood out in front of her door, nervously waiting for some page to pick her. After a few minutes, a tall guy with sandy blond hair and blue eyes came up to her and said, confidently, " Do you need a sponser? " She looked up at him and nodded. " I'm Kiran of Clearwater Creek " He said, and shook her hand. Alissa said, " I'm Luke of Mistmantle." Kiran smilled and said, " You sound like a good kid. Okay, let me show you where the great hall is. That's where we are going to have our first feast." He turned and walked away, which was a motion to follow him. Alissa (Luke), followed after him.

It wasn't long before she was one of the last left to be sponsored, and the lot that milled around her restlessly seemed too soft to be able to deal with the stony silent young page that still stood stiffly at attention. If she got lucky, maybe she wouldn't have to be sponsored, but that was a fool's hope; there was no way she would be getting out of this without one, and it induced a certain feeling of despair.

"I'm late," called a new, cheerful voice. The messy haired youth sauntered into the hall with a smirk on his face as he eyed the remaining pages. "Hmm, not much to choose from," he said casually. Yvonne's eyes narrowed and immediately she felt annoyed. There was just something about him that grated on her nerves, already raw from the forced expulsion from her home. The feeling of despair grew as the stranger came closer. He leaned into her face and examined her closely, as he had done with the others. Dark blue eyes stared into cloudy blue-grey, and with a satisfied grunt, he leaned back and said, "I've got this one," and set a hand on her shoulder. Yvonne glared, dropping her cool demeanor completely. The brown haired boy laughed, shaking the locks out of his eyes. "I knew you had it in you! I'm Fuji of the Jade Sea."

"Xyun of Winter's Reach," Yvonne replied grudgingly, staring up, slowly recovering her poise.

"Anyway," Fuji said cheerfully, "You're probably hungry." Yvonne might have opened her mouth to deny it, but she was hungry. Lying wouldn't help, so she followed dutifully as Fuji lead her to the dining hall. "Grab something and then sit there." The brown-haired boy pointed at the table where others were already sitting before going off to grab some food for himself.

Yvonne finished assembling her meal before Fuji (from the pile on his plate, he ate a lot), and tried to find a spot. She spotted the table, but she didn't feel exactly like sitting amongst a group of strangers. After a careful minute of examination, she decided a spot near the shaggy-haired blond. She couldn't explain it, but she felt a certain connection, and settled next to her, poking at her food. She watched Fuji sit with some of the older boys, near, but not too close, to her, and chat.

Kiran saw Alex and Fugi and said, " Hey guys, meet Luke of Mistmantle, my newbie. " Then he turned to her and said, " I'll see you later." and then he turned to sit with Alex and Fugi Alissa smilled and sat between a tall guy with shaggy blond hair and a another guy with choppy black hair. She murmered, " Hey." half-heartedly as she sat down, and then grabbed a plate to place food on it.

Kyle stood solemnly. He had a deathly cold aura seemingly emitting from him, which was probably why he was one of the last to be chosen. Looking up, the page before him grinned wickedly. The page slapped Kyle on the back with a large sound that made Kyle cringe from not only the pain but the noise.

"You seem to be in needing of a sponser, and you seem to have a cold enough heart to become an amazing knight... I'm Zach of Talltrees," said the boy, laughing. Placing his arms behind his head he looked down at Kyle with dark green eyes and asked, "Your name?"

"I'm Kyle of Teardrop Falls," said Kyle, golden eyes tight. They narrowed as he saw how many other first years there were. Looking at Zach with a skeptical look that asked, "I'm supposed to eat here?", he gave a tight frown and sighed, grabbing and plate and putting food upon it.

"Go sit somewhere; preferably I'd like it if you became a little social, Kyle," Zach said with a sigh and a roll of his eyes. Waving Kyle off, Zach joined his friends, and sighed. Rocking forwards and backwards on his heels, he said to Sebastian, "Man, my newbie's a killer. He has the eyes of a hawk that's just about ready to kill. He's gonna be hard to get to."

Kyle gave a sigh; the senior page who picked him irritatingly had the same name as his brother and ironically enough, acted like him too. Grabbing a seat next to a dark haired boy a few other kids, just to make sure Zach would not come over like his brother Zac would and make fun of him for being a, as Zac would say it, "party-pooper." Kyle sighed and quietly stared into space. No use talking if he didn't want to.

Liam stood outside his room and waited for one of the older boy to come sponsor him. He kinda lounged against the door while an older boy came towards him and inspected him room. After that was finished he came towards Liam and stood infront of him. "I've got this Hale." the boy smiled holding out his hand "Aspen of Winter's Reach" he said in a quiet voice.

"Nice to meet you Liam Danvers of Goldenlake" Smiled the olive toned boy flipping his hair out of his face quickly. Hazel eyes gleaming he followed Aspen towards the dinning hall. Aspen sat with the older boys while Liam sat next to the new boys like himself. grabbing a plate he got a bunch of fruit and started eating.

" 'Ello, Lucifer," Janelle said softly, forgetting to use her 'guy voice'. Ahh, oh well. She'd juse have to settle for her obvious position of 'little guy'.

"What about you guys?" Janelle turned to the group around her, "I'm J.. Anel of Trebond." She bit her lip, hoping nobody noticed her slip. This would take some getting used to. "And don't make fun of my dinner, I just don't eat alot." It was kind of the truth. At least it was something to distract them from the major difference between her and the group.
