Welcome to Total Drama Island!

Hey there Dudes! Welcome to the hottest reality show on TV! Total Drama Island! You are one of many campers that have signed up to be on the show. You are going to compete for fame and fortune as you face off in some of the camps odd challenges. I am your host, Chris McClain! Who will survive the deadly challenges? Who will survive the other campers and alliances? Find out here on Total... Drama... Island!!!

 
Alrighty campers, here is the deal. This role play is going to be a different kind of one. Here in this RP you only have a limited time to RP because if you are voted off or eliminated, you dont get to come back ever...

You will be apart of two different teams until there are only a few of you left. When it comes down to that, the teams will be disbanded and you will be on your own. When you are on your own you must complete the challenge by yourself and if you do not, its an automatic elimination! So have fun out there!


Here are a few simple answers just in case you are lost at the moment-

 
What is this all about?

This RP is going to be a competitive one where users will have to complete challenges in order to stay on this thread.

 
Do we actually get to RP here?
Yes, I will give you a challenge at the beginning of each week and you will have one week to get them in. During that week, you can RP in this thread and talk to other campers whether or not they are on your team.

 
How long do we have on challenges?

You have one week to turn them in. If I give the challenge on Monday, you have until the following Monday night to get it in. If your team fails to turn your challenge in, two days after it is due, you will automatically lose.

 
What if both teams dont turn anything in?

Then I will put names in a hat and randomly draw two out, one for both teams. Those two campers will automatically get kicked off the island.

 
Does everyone have to participate in challenges?

It is recommended that everyone does but if you dont and your team loses, you will more than likely get the boot from your team. So be active and help out, even if its just to save your own hide.

 
Are we playing as ourselves, or as characters?

In the RP thread you will be playing as a camper that you have created for this thread. While you are doing the challenges you dont need to RP, you can talk normally and discuss what needs to get done. Only here do you RP.

 
Can we have love interests?

Yes you can but dont let those distract you from the prize. You need to work on the challenges as well has finding a crush for your camper if you are looking for one.

First Place-

(It can be pretty much anything you want human, animal, couples, whatever but keep it appropriate for the forum.)

 

Second Place-

A warrior cat siggy done by Ebonycloud

(It will be of your warrior cat character, not drawn)

I think those are pretty good prizes if you ask me. If you dont think so then perhaps let me know of a better prize.

 

Rules of Play-

 

 

  1. Normal RP rules (No cussing etc)
  2. Just like on TDI, alliances can be formed but you reap what you sow.
  3. After the teams are disbanded, you will no longer vote each other off. If you fail to turn in a challenge you will automatically get the boot. If everyone turns in a challenge, I will ask the former competitors to vote off a camper.
  4. If you dont turn in your vote by two days after the challenge has been won, then I will put names in a hat and randomly pull one out. That camper will be eliminated whether or not they were helping out on the team. No hard feelings if it happens. Its all luck and chance.
  5. You may have a love interested just like in other RPs but dont forget to complete the challenge.
  6. In the game and activities board, you will create your team threads. You will not RP there. The idea of this game is very much the same as the survivor game (credits to Moony). In your team threads you discuss your challenges and get them all in order to turn in here.
  7. In this game you will be creating a camper to RP as so you will need to fill out a character sheet.

Reason for being at camp: His parents thought it would be a good way for him to meet new people.

Reason for being at camp: She heard about it from a friend, and so, wanted to go. She had to buy her own ticket/whatever it is, and so she did~

Age: 17
Gender: Boy
Appearance: Tall, shaggy dark hair that falls a little over his eyes a bit, pretty green eyes and a "good" body. Very lean. He has strong cheekbones and is a bit pale, except when exposed to sun. He tans very quickly. He is not muscular really, just skinny. He is wearing green plaid shorts, a black tee and perfect white shoes.
Personality: He is a very tender fellow and a good listener. He is awfully sweet but very jealous. Can be competitive, but it depends. Normally he is a good follower and just a bit shy, but still aproachable and likable.
Reason for being at camp: He is doing it to "find himself".
Other: I don't believe I've played a boy before because I've never thought I could pull it off, but I'll give it a shot. Forgive my mistakes, I am a girl in real life so it is a bit hard for me to play as a boy with no experience. =D I didn't choose a girl simply because I could not think of an appearance I haven't already used XD XD

Other: I don't believe I've played a boy before because it makes me feel uncomfortable (especially when it comes to liking girls, since I like boys, but if the time comes in this RP I will probably end up in a relationship =D), but I'll give it a shot. Forgive my mistakes, I am a girl in real life so it is a bit hard for me to play as a boy with no experience. =D I didn't choose a girl simply because I could not think of an appearance I haven't already used XD XD Tis a bit tiring being a girl every time.
