Lunardream chuckled dryly. "I see," she muttered. "So...are we hunting, or what?" she asked bluntly, not looking Willowsong in the eye. "I didn't eat last night because..." she trailed off, not wanting to relay her embarrassing hunting mishap to the confident she-cat. "Because I wasn't hungry..but I am now..." she finished lamely.
"I'll send out another hunting party as soon as.....um...sure...yeah. Graystreak and Ghostfur already went out to look for toads and the like." She blanched, blinking slightly to catch herself. I'm not in RiverClan anymore. I don't organize patrols. Cats will probably hate me if I start ordering them around. Especially if they were in a different Clan. It's just too easy to be a deputy....

"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Fireclaw had given a pouting face ever since Willowsong made her excuse. His ears drooped and his mouth pulled in to a childish frown. The tip of the young warriors tail flicked back and forth with annoyance. Yet he listened intently as Willowsong talked to Lunadream. Since he still considered the she cat to be his deputy, he had almost spoken up to offer to go on the hunting patrol, but seeing as he wasnt really her underling anymore he clamped his mouth shut. His amber eyes went from one she cat to the other before he decided to pipe up, "Umm, i have a suggestion for you guys. I know it may be a little early to talk about this, and i am not sure all of us will consent, but we need to think about forming a clan. All of us were kicked out by our leaders but that doesnt mean we have to abandon all we were taught. It just means that those leaders arent fit to be so. We can really wound their egos by making a thriving clan with a leader, a deputy and all that."
Willowsong looked over at Fireclaw, tilting her head to the side, pondering. "That does sound like a good idea. It would show them no to kick us out. Isn't that what happened to another legendary clan, SkyClan? It's said Firestar revived a clan of outcasts. Anyway, I think we could do it. I'l support you too, if anyone decides to raise their voices against it." She nodded, and smiled kindly, her eyes sparkling in the early morning sunlight.

Blossomheart yawned and heard Fireclaw say, "All of us were kicked out by our leaders but that doesnt mean we have to abandon all we were taught. It just means that those leaders arent fit to be so. We can really wound their egos by making a thriving clan with a leader, a deputy and all that." She streched and padded over to them, " If you don't mind me butting in, but, I think that's a great idea. " She gave Fireclaw a warm smile, " Eventhough our leaders, kicked us out, we can still survive. "

Fireclaw gave an enthusiastic nod at both Blossomheart and Willowsong, "Then its agreed! We will form a clan! Umm... what should we call it though?" The ginger and white tom thought and a name popped in to his mind, "How about Hopeclan? THe one clan that provides hope for all those who have been betrayed and wronged. We believe in second chances!" His voice lifted almost in to a squeak as kit like excitement raced through him.
Willowsong chuckled. "It's never been done before. I like it~ Who cares about sticking with what we know best? We've just been thrown out, might as well learn a few things." She smiled, looking around. "So..." she wondered how to word it without making it sound like an order. "Who wants to go hunting?"

Lunardream twitched her tail. "I'll come, Leader," she meowed - teasing, to her own surprise. She hadn't joked in moons. She dipped her head in play-respect and looked up, her gray eyes twinkling with rare laughter.
Willowsong sighed, "I'll have to work on that, won't I?" She smiled too, and looked at the cats who were slowly becoming her family. "Who else wants to come?" There. That didn't sound like an order, did it? Maybe I really am getting better at this. The sun peeked over the edge of the horizon, adding an orange tint to the rosy sky.

Seapaw watched the cats talk. Her ear twitched a bit as she listened. She looked at willowsong when she ask if anyone wanted to hunt. A small smile grew on her face and than it fade. She shouldnt get in the way of the warriors. Seapaw looked down.
